"Bye Henry! Have a good day!" Chelsea squeaks as i get out the car.

"Bye Chel." I smile and wave good bye to my mum before i walk into school.

I'm feeling okay, it all feels lighter.

Nellie has done something to me and i can't explain it. She's lightened my soul.

She's showing me theirs more to living than just darkness. She's showing me there's something to live for.

And i owe her my life for that.

I walk into the halls and i spend the morning time at my locker, looking for my favourite book.

As the bell rings i turn around and see Baxter.

"Don't fucking move, don't fucking go anywhere." He sneers.

I stand dead still. I don't want him to hurt me. So i stand.

The way he's staring at me makes me fear for myself and my safety.

One the halls are clear, he begins to verbally abuse me.

"You're such a fucking shit, no wonder you have no fucking friends. I hope you fucking kill yourself."

I squeeze my eyes shut.

"I hope you do it, fucking do it, no one here even wants you."

"Okay." I whisper.

He grabs my glasses, throws them to the ground, and stomps on them crushing them.

Fucking hell.

"Awh you can't see now, poor fucking you." He grits walking away and going to class.

I wipe my tears and bite my lip as my try not to have a panic attack.

I go to my locker and look through my bag for my contacts.

I have spare glasses at home but only contacts here.

I use my phone camera to put them in before i grab my books and go to class.

Everyone's eyes are on me as i go in. Everyone is watching me.

I quickly walk to the back and take a sit sinking down trying to ignore the stares of my classmates.

Nellie gets up and she sits down next to me.

"Hey," She smiles.

I smile to myself as she spoke to me.

Her eyes flicker over my face.

"What happened to your glasses?"

"I'm wearing contacts."

"Why?"

I shrug.

"Oh," She smiles lightly, "I liked your glasses."

My heart kicks up and my stomach turns.

"You like them?"

She nods and smiles moving closer to me, "Do you want to come back to the forrest with me tonight?"

I nod, "Yes, please."

I need a break.

And she's the only break i've found that works.
