October 1979

It was the first of October when the group were finally back home.

Well. Home has been an underwhelming word for the past year. The twins had not been back to their home in so long that neither of them remembered what their rooms looked like.

None of them had been home in a while. And it wouldn't change until the war was over.

Peter and Sirius were headed back to Aberforth's home while James was headed to the Diggorys where Regulus was.

Juliet and Remus' home had been the Lupin's since Juliet entered the last term of her pregnancy. That would be where they would go back to once they picked up their baby.

"Welcome back!" Ted greeted them warmly, opening the door for the couple to walk in.

Juliet smiled at him slightly, her mind too focused on her Romy. Remus did however shake his hand happily, and exchange some words with him.

His girlfriend, having set her eyes on the little baby sitting in a baby chair in the kitchen, was already rushing to her with  arms ready to pick her up.

It felt as though she could breathe again when she lifted the baby and held her against her chest. Romy cooed joyfully in her arms, and it relieved her mother who had previously nervously wondered if her baby had forgotten about her.

"Hi baby." Juliet grinned, kissing the baby's little head.

Little Andromeda looked up with her brown orbs and adorable smile and Juliet forgot all about the war. She forgot all about the encounters she made the past twenty days, all that mattered was the bundle of joy in her arms.

"Juliet! You're back!" Nymphadora grinned as she ran to the young woman, her mother behind her.

"Hi." She smiled at them.

"How was it?" Andromeda asked her.

"Eventful." Juliet sighed. "Hopefully the outcome is fine. We should meet up soon with the Order to find out what happened with the others."

"Things are progressing fast." The older woman stated, a tone of nervousness in her voice.

"Too fast for my liking." Juliet looked back at her baby.

It hit her just then that Andromeda was slowly able to hold up her own head's weight.

How many meeting would make her miss on Romy's firsts? What if she was in the middle of a battle and missed Romy's first steps?

Remus walked over and took Romy from Juliet carefully, smiling at her.

"Hey there, lovely little Romy."
