When You Least Expect It!

We will not be sleeping tonight..

"And how are we gonna do that?" Samar asked listening to Kaveri's plan of getting Mithila and Kunvar alone for the evening.

"Simple Samar sa, I have asked My dad to invite Papa for dinner. Just since it's been too many days since they both have met. So Papa will most definitely stay at their house tonight." Kaveri continued looking at Avani and Kabir, "and we all can rearrange room arrangements." She said looking at a terrified to the core Avani.

"Wh... wha... what re.. arrangements?" She said controlling the wildly beating heart of hers.

Kabir looked down while licking his lips. Boy needs to keep it under control.

"What do you mean what?" Kaveri said feigning innocence again, "Since you and Mithila sleep in guest room and Kunvar and Kabir sleep in Kunvar's room...so..."

Avani was about to faint, or maybe it's her heart trying to leap in her throat.

"So what?" Avani asked cautiously.

"So we have to swap the roommates!"
Kaveri said and Avani stopped breathing for a second. "What do you think Samar sa?" She asked hiding her face from Avani.

Samar just shook his head and looked at a totally smitten and already planning ahead Kabir looking at his love interest.

"WHAT??" Avani almost shouted "No way! That is not what is going to happen!" She was adamant. Also trying really hard not to look at Kabir.
"I will sleep in your room. Samar sa can sleep with .... Him." She said pointing in the general direction of Kabir.

Kaveri was downright laughing now. Kabir was a different story though. He knew the kiss they shared last night was not a one way thing. But something has made her uncomfortable around him. Maybe she was avoiding him. He didn't like that. He needs to clarify everything and talk to her about it the moment they are alone.

"Relax Avani, I was just kidding." Kaveri said controlling her laugh. "But boy you had a strong reaction to what I just said. Has something happened between you two?" She asked getting suspicious.

"No" both Kabir and Avani said at same time then looked at each other.

"Bhabhi," Kabir started pacifying the situation, " we are here to discuss what is to be done about Mithila and Kunvar right? So tell us about that."

Kaveri reluctantly agreed and continued, " So since Mithila is new here and she will definitely feel awkward with being in same room as Kunvar when they are not supposed to, when we all are in the house." She said, "So.. we all are going to a pub!"

Everybody was a little confused at the moment.

"I mean," Kaveri tried to clarify, " we can go to a club have dinner a little dance and all, till then they can talk their stuff out. Then by the time we returned they will in their respective rooms sleeping. Simple." She said smiling at everyone with her full proof plan.

Everybody in the room knew the flaw in the plan except Kaveri.
Samar cleared his throat and held his wife's hands into his, Kaveri was confused now, "Jaan," he started slowly, "do you see the problem here?" He asked just to make sure she is on the same page as all of them.

"What problem?" She asked now completely confused.

Samar smiled to himself thinking how innocent his girl is.
"Jaan, Papa is not going to come home tonight, we all are going away for the evening till late midnight," he started explaining slowly thinking that Kaveri might understand a little. "That means.... Nobody is going to be in the house, except Mithila and Kunvar. They are going to be alone in the house, at night, in the same room, knowing that nobody is home. And it's Kunvar we are talking about."
