Farjaad's hand on her stomach pushed her back slightly to have her next to the wall. The smile on her face widened, her eyelashes fluttering as she looked up at him, craving what was to come. Farjaad's own smile deepened as he pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, leaving his hand caressing her cheek. Umeed found herself melting into his simple touch yet again as she closed her eyes, taking his scent in. Farjaad leaned down, placing a small kiss next to her mouth, making her smile.

Umeed's phone began to ring making them pull back and stare at it. Umeed peeped over to see Sameer's name flashing on the screen, making her groan. She reached out and turned it off, putting it on silent.

"Sorry"

She smiled sheepishly and Farjaad shook his head at her. They had a strict non-phone policy during the night. Once Umeed was back home from the cafe, that was their time. No one was allowed to interrupt.

"Jee to kahan thay hum?"

He smirked. Umeed stood on her tiptoes as she placed a kiss right where he had placed one.

"Yahan"

He smiled as he looked down at his wife who was grinning wide.

Just then, his own phone began ringing, making them both let out frustrated sighs. He pulled it out of his pocket to see Sameer's name flashing again.

"Is Sameer ke bachay ko to mein -"

Umeed was about to lash out on Sameer through the phone when Farjaad stopped her.

"Baar baar call kar raha hai, koi zaroori baat na ho kaheen, warna wo itna late call nahi karta."

His words made Umeed rethink the situation. He was right, Sameer never called this late. Especially not Farjaad. Her heart began racing as a stream of negative thoughts began swimming around. Farjaad answered the call and Umeed brought her ear close to it, hearing what Sameer had to say.

"Hello Sameer, sab khairiyat?"

"Uff shukar hai Farjaad bhai aap ne call uthayi hai!"

He was panicking, making Umeed panic too as she snatched the phone from Farjaad's hands.

"Sameer? Tum kahan ho? Kya hua hai? Tum theek ho? Baba to theek hein na?"

Farjaad placed a hand on her shoulder trying to calm her down.

"Umeed, Aagu Jaan -"

The phone dropped from Umeed's hands. They shared a look. Next they were in the car, driving way beyond the speed limit. Farjaad's left hand holding on tightly to hers, continuously trying to calm her down. She couldn't. Tears kept streaming down her face.

She kept pacing around in the hospital corridor, Farjaad was leaning against the wall, patting Sameer on his shoulder. Haya was trying to calm Zeenat down, while she kept sobbing herself. The Pasha brothers were slumped in the chairs, looking impatiently at the doors of the ICU.
