"And don't talk to my wife like that ever again," He said before getting up

Did he take a stand for me?

After paying we both exited the store

"Are you hungry?" He asked

"No"

And then my stomach growled, upon hearing that he took me to an expensive restaurant

"No, not here. Can we go to the food court?" I insisted

"Anywhere you like" he replied, before going to the food court

We got seated and a waitress came to collect our order

"What can I bring for you guys?" She asked

"Uh.. A burger and milkshake for me" I said

"Black coffee, no sugar" He said

After a while our food arrived, we started eating it

I realized that Damian was looking at his watch continuously

"Do you need to be somewhere right now?" I asked

"After this" He replied

"Then let's go, I don't want you to be late for.. your work" I said, getting up

"Don't you want to shop more?" He asked, somewhat surprised

"Not really, come on now!" I said, as we started walking outside

He dropped me home, where I found Hazel talking with my mother

BTW it is already evening till now 

"Hey, how was your date?" Hazel asked

"Fine" I said

"You don't sound like it was fine" She said

"It wasn't even a date, we just went shopping for rings" I said, I said walking upstairs

~ Dinner time

"So how was your date?" Aiden asked

"Nothing special" I replied

"Why?" He asked

"We just went shopping for rings" I said

"Did you get your ring?" He asked

"Yes" I replied

"Where is it?" He asked

"With him" I said

"And did you get his ring too?" He asked

"Yes, and that is also with him" I said

"Aish, why did you buy it with him?" Dad asked

"Why?" I asked

"Did he pay for it?" he asked

"Yeah" I said

"How much was it?" He asked

"I don't know" I replied

"Sweetie, its not right to let him pay for everything" Mum said

"Fine, I'll ask the price and tell you, you can pay them back" I said

"And Damian's parents are coming tomorrow for lunch, to discuss the wedding date" Dad said

"Do I need to be there?" I asked

"Not really" Mum said

"And get ready, next week we will go for dress selection" Mum said

"Okay, I'll clear my schedule" I replied

TIME SKIP ~ TO NEXT MORNING
