This chapter will be dramatic...I think. This is my best shot and I hope it isn't as bad as I thought.
As always, vote and comment! The bell loudly rang, signalling the end of school. Students bursts out of their classrooms and to go to their lockers, wearing happy smiles, causing another stampede.
You squeezed your way through the crowd carefully as to not fall down and get run over. You saw (Fnd/n) by her locker and you waded to her. Your feet kept on getting stepped on, making you wince in pain.
As you got to her, the stampede finally stopped but there was still a massive crowd that was slowly breaking as students went to their lockers.
You shuffled to your own then put back all of your books, your mind silently celebrating at the fact that tomorrow was a Friday. A weekend! No more (b/n) or (e/n) to bother you! And you get to finish the project with Hiccup.
You heard (Fnd/n) singing quietly to herself as she fixed her own things. You slammed your locker shut, slinging your backpack over your shoulders then waved goodbye to (Fnd/n) then walked out of the building, a small smile on your face.
Your parents and (y/s/n) were going back later this evening, and you couldn't wait to spend time with them. You wondered what happened at the meeting. You hoped everything went okay, considering it was with your father's boss, a strict one at that.
As you walked down the steps where (e/n) had tripped you, you felt your phone buzz in your pocket, signalling a new message. You reached the ground then fished your phone with an (f/c) case out of your pocket, walking to a place away from the students that were off to parties that you weren't invited.
'A message from Hiccup Haddock', your phone read. You clicked it open.
Meet me at the park.
You raised an eyebrow at the short message. What could you possibly do at the park? You had a project to finish. You decided to find out when you arrive there and quickly typed out a reply.
Sure
You pocketed your phone then walked silently to the park, looking at the pavements you were walking on. You have to admit, you were slightly scared. Your hands were cold, and you tried to tell yourself it was because of the pretty cold weather. Every once in a while, a strong and cold breeze would blow by, sending your hair in waves.
You reached the local park. There were birch and oak trees inside, scattering leaves on the forest green grass. The air was fresh and you could hear the children playing inside. Most parks made you pay for entrance, but they let you in for free here.
You pushed open the large gate then entered inside, your eyes looking out for Hiccup's lanky figure. You glanced at your watch while you walked along the pebbled paths, realizing it was already 5 in the afternoon, almost evening. Your parents and (y/s/n) were probably heading home.
Your eyes suddenly caught the familiar sight of messy auburn hair beside a large oak tree far from the entrance. As you walked closer, you saw that he had a troubled look on his face.
"Hey," you nervously greeted as you stopped walking, standing a few feet away from him. You removed your backpack and placed it on the grassy ground below.
"Hey," Hiccup half-heartedly greeted back, his expression remaining blank. Something was off...
"So," you said, rising on your toes as you tried not to panic. From the look on his face, it looked like bad news. "What did you call me here for?"
He sighed. "Why did you hurt (e/n)?" He said, irritation making his voice hoarse.
That statement made your eyes widen and your heart beat faster. You knew it, (e/n) must've lied to Hiccup.
And he believed her.
"But I d-didn't!" You exclaimed, balling your hands into fists.
"Yes you did!" Hiccup angrily snapped back, his eyebrows furrowed tightly. "Have you seen her?"
"I-I did not hurt her, Hiccup!" You answered, tears forming at the corner of your eyes. This is what he called you for? So he could blame you? Blame you for an act you didn't do?
Unbelievable.
"She was the one who hurt me!" You cried, walking closer to the now fuming Hiccup. "She's lying to you!"
You noticed that a few people stared at you, giving concerned looks, but no one dared to interrupt. They knew this was serious. The sky started to dim and a few street lamps were already lit.
"No! You're the one who's lying!" Hiccup yelled at you, making you take a step back. "I shouldn't have told you anything! Now look what you've done!"
"B-but I told you! I-I didn't do anything to her!" You defended yourself, but Hiccup wouldn't listen. "I didn't trip her! I didn't break her wrist! I didn't fight her! She was the one who fought me!"
The both of you fell silent for a moment, your sobs were the only thing you could hear.
"You're just jealous, (y/n). I didn't know you would go as far as hurting (e/n)," he muttered. "Forget the project, I'll do it on my own."
"I am not jealous! And I told you I didn't hurt your petty, little girlfriend!" You exclaimed, your head hurting because of the anger. This worsened because Hiccup raised his hands, indicating that he want listening nor believing.
You let out an anguished cry of pain, then you did something neither of you expected. You brought your hand up then slapped him really hard.
"I hate you!" You screamed, catching the attention of everyone in the park. With tears streaming down your face, you picked up your backpack stomped out of the park, leaving him behind.
***
You entered your house then slammed the door.
They weren't here yet.
You ran upstairs to your room, slamming the door so hard that it nearly broke off of its hinges before you locked it.
"Gah!" You screamed as loud as you could then punched a pillow before throwing it across your room. You started to cry again.
Hiccup. A name you now despised.
How could he? Why did he believe her?
You sank down to the wooden floor, feeling cold and unwanted. Sniffing, you muttered something before everything went dark.
"Help."
