I just realized that I wrote "Chapter 15" on both of the chapters I wrote before this XDDD I already fixed it, btw. Sorry for the inconvenience!!!
How strange my mind could be, because I'm thinking about deleting my other story! I already deleted too much stories, and I think I'll just settle with this one first. I unpublished my other book, and it will go through a mega-updating, I will change the plot, cover, title, and basically everything because I have no idea what to do with it.Anyways, vote and comment please!
School.
The last place you wanted to go to, Anne's house following closely behind. It was all dusty and moldy and simply...yucky.
You couldn't get the portrait out of your mind. The crosses on your family's face...
What if the fire wasn't an accident? What if someone caused it?
These thoughts clogged up on your mind and made your head hurt.
But at least Anne became nicer...a bit. She let you borrow one of her backpacks, which was a dull, gray-colored one. You scavenged the house for any pens or pencils that you could find and stuffed them inside you pack. She didn't bother asking why were you up at 2 in the morning, a flashlight tied to your head with a piece of cloth, carrying a small sack on your hand.
Anne also let you borrow some of her old clothes...OKAY FINE! You were also out past midnight hunting for some clothes and, luckily, you found a fresh set in the front yard that she left to dry.
You were still wearing the jeans that you wore the last few days, but you wore this plain white t-shirt that seems to big for you.
And Hiccup.
At your family's funeral, Hiccup came to visit and the two of you ran around under the rain. He helped you to try to get your mind off of things. It didn't entirely work, but you appreciated his efforts.
You shook your head and continued walking silently in the sidewalk that headed to school.
When you woke up a few hours earlier, you were hoping that Anne would take you to school in her car, but when you got downstairs, there was no one there. You had almost forgotten, or completely forgotten that Anne was a doctor and she needed to get to the hospital really early.
The bus still didn't know where you were staying, so you were eventually forced to walk all the way to school.
And worst of all, there was no food on the table. And there wasn't any food in the fridge or in the cupboards.
NO FOOD ANYWHERE. WHAT IS THIS PLACE.
You did find a few spiders and cobwebs though. Did Anne ever clean her house?
Your stomach felt like it had a hole and it grumbled loudly.
After a few minutes of walking in complete silence with nothing but the sound of the trees, the birds and the wind, the old, dusty building of your school came in to view.
You were about to walk straight ahead, but you abruptly stopped and hid behind a nearby bush, examining the grounds.
The school bus was parked in front with its door open, students hopping out of it, merrily chatting with each other as if there was no tomorrow.
You were slightly afraid of how they will react. Maybe they'll tease you more, and mention some things about your family and laugh when you cry.
You thought about not going to school ever again, but (Fnd/n) won't let that happen. Plus, you wanted to finish school and have a decent job.
You took out a black jacket from your backpack. You "borrowed" this one from from Anne too. You wore it, and zipped it up to your neck. Sadly, it had no hood to hide under.
Taking a deep breath, you muttered a short prayer before stepping out of your hiding place, preparing for what the day was about to give you.

"Hey look, it's (y/n)!"
"How come she didn't die?"
"She must be immortal"
"Yeah, yeah, she should've instead of her family."
"Shut up! Be nice!"
Whispers and murmurs came from almost everyone as you walked through the hallways, keeping your head down to avoid making eye contact with anyone.
You still kept a cautious eye around for (b/n) or (e/n), in case they decided make your life worse than it already is.
"Hey, (y/n)," someone said. You couldn't identify who it was since everyone sounded completely the same to you right now, since everyone was whisperin at the same time.
It was truly annoying.
You didn't look at him/her. "What do you want?" you snapped, clutching the strap of Anne's backpack tighter. If that person wanted to be the first one to bully you about your family's death, you'll sock him/her in the eye.
A hand landed on your shoulder.
This made you look up.
"Oh, hey (Fnd/n)..." You mumbled, loosening your grip on the backpack strap. "I'm sorry for leaving you at the hospital...you wouldn't wake up!"
She didn't answer you.
The two of you walked to your lockers.
"How are you feeling?" (Fnd/n) asked as she took out the 800-paged Math book from her locker, dumping it in her bag.
"I'm feeling fine," you flatly answered, taking out your English book. You were seriously glad that you left your book in your locker that weekend, or you wouldn't have any books left!
"Hey (l/n)..." someone mockingly, making you grit your teeth hard.
You slammed your locker shut then turned around to see (b/n)'s sneering face.
"What now?" You said, glaring at him/her.
Get ready to be punched...
"Ohoho! Getting tough aren't you?" (B/n) said, crossing those large arms. "-runt" he/she added quickly.
You clenched your fist, anger building up inside you. You needed to punch someone.
"Now that your ickle little family's all gone no-"
(B/n) never got to finish his/her sentence because you socked him/her in the eye. Really hard.
"Gah!" (B/n) screamed, clutching the eye that you had punched.
You smirked at him/her, shaking your hand as it hurt. Everyone in the hall faced you, mouths open in a stupid, gaping way.
"What?" You loudly said, your head hurting really bad. "Ever seen a runt punch anyone before?"
(Fnd/n) came running to your side. "What has gotten in to you?" she frantically whispered.
You shrug and didnt answer. You walked off to English class.
(Fnd/n) sighed and walked off to her Math class.
"People change, (Fnd/n)..." you muttered.
