IN WHICH SAM HUGHES FINDS HER entire life being flipped off its axis when the Upside Down situation comes back for a third round of hell. She thought her biggest issue this summer was trying to keep her friend group from going at each other's throats. Turns out, that's the easiest part. Thankfully Will will be unharmed this time, but Sam definitely will not. The Mind Flayer didn't find their little "closing the Gate" act very cute last year. Now, he's angry and very, very vengeful. While that's very threatening, it's not surprising. Sam only had one question: Why does he want to take out his anger on Sam?

He thought his biggest issue this summer was trying to steer as far away from Mike (and his girlfriend El) as much as possible. Turns out, that's the opposite of what he wants. When the Upside Down situation comes back for a third round of hell, Corey will want to keep Mike and all of the Party close.
