Kaye and miss Iris arrived. Walang pinalagpas na oras ang mga ito, agad kaming pumasok.
The bar's not that crowded. We picked a table at the side corner of the building para hindi masyadong kita.
"So what should we eat and drink?" tanong ni miss Iris
"Nachos!" Kaye exclaimed
"What about you Czarina? Nice meeting you again"
"Nice meeting you rin po miss Iris"
"Oh come on, just call me Iris starting today" sabi nito
Tumango ako bago ito ngitian
"May mojos kaya sila, nag crave po ako bigla eh" sagot ko
"I think they have it on their menu, and you my little sis what do you want?"
Tumingin si Iris sa kapatid niya.
"Same as Czari's" tipid nitong sagot
"Okay, I'll just go"
Umalis si miss Iris at naiwan kaming tatlo.
"So Czarina how's your life after mo mawala sa Montessori?" biglang tanong ni Kaye
"I transferred in Sta. Rosa, it wasn't easy at first. Nangapa talaga ako kasi wala man lang akong kakilala. But I enjoyed that part din, I learned how to deal with strangers and meet new friends there" sagot ko
"Saan ka pala nag college?" tanong niya ulit
"Hmm UST"
"What? I didn't know na mayroong UST branch sa Laguna"
"It's new, for a school yes it's still new. Kami yung unang batch of students na nakapasok sa UST-SR" sagot ko
"Wow, bigatin naman pala tong beshy natin Louise"
I looked at Irene who's busy at her phone. Medyo nawalan ako ng ganang mag kwento pa, hindi naman ata nakikinig tong isa eh.
"What about your life there? May naging boyfriend ka ba dun?"
I almost laugh at Kaye's question. Boyfriend? Boy na friend pwede pa.
"Ah hahaha wala Kaye, I don't like dating boys" sagot ko
Mas okay na maging honest ako, may tiwala naman ako sa kanila eh.
"What do you mean? So kahit isa wala kang binigyan ng chance? I'm sure may mga nagtatanong sayo, you're so pretty kaya Czarina"
"I dated some during college but walang nagtagal Kaye" nahihiya kong sagot
"Dated some?" tanong ni Irene
Now she's listening, chismosa rin talaga to.
"Y-Yes, but all of them were girls Kaye...just to be clear. I'm lesbian kasi"
Halos sumiksik ako sa gilid ng upuan pagkatapos sabihin yun.
"Holy shit, did I hear that correctly? Czarina's not straight?" Iris exclaimed
Tumingin ako sa likod at nakita si miss Iris.
"Yes, like you two rin" sagot ko
"Cool! I like you na talaga" sabi nito
Tumabi na siya kay Kaye.
"Orders coming up later, so back to the topic. You're lesbian?" tanong ni miss Iris
"Opo, I knew I wasn't straight kasi nagka crush ako sa blockmate ko noong first year college. I decided to know more about it and I managed to identify myself"
"So kailan ka nagka girlfriend?" tanong naman ni Kaye
"Second year, her name's Jazmine. She's an athlete, very good swimmer. We met because of swimming lessons, I wanted to learn how to swim kasi" paliwanag ko
"Para-paraan ka siguro sa class Czarina" bigla namang sabi ni miss Iris
"Medyo" sagot ko
That made them laugh except kay Irene na nakatingin lang sakin ng seryoso.
"She's bi, but we only last for six months. She had to migrate in Australia kasi, and we both don't want a long distance relationship" paliwanag ko
"Aww"
Sabay pa silang nagsabi nun.
"I tried to mingle with this cool girl three months after my break up, we started going out but since she's too cool for me I decided to stop seeing her. Ang famous niya kasi plus nagseseryoso na ako sa pag aaral that time" dagdag ko
"Ahh same pa rin kayo ni Louise, grade conscious" Kaye said
Sumulyap ako muli kay Irene at nakitang inirapan lang si Kaye.
"Noong third year ako wala akong inatupag kung hindi acads and the band" kwento ko
"Band?"
"Yes Kaye, I made a band because you know how much I love playing guitar. I decided to perform every Paskuhan and kapag may other events sa school"
"Sobrang naging busy pa ako noong nagsimula ang thesis namin" dagdag ko pa
"Ang cool mo talaga Czari, ang poganda pa"
Natawa na lang ako sa sinabi ni Kaye. Itinuloy ko na lang ang pagkekwento sa kanila.
"Later on, at my fourth year we started the training. Sa training center which is in Pangasinan nakilala ko yung isa sa mga aquaculturist nila. She's pretty, smart and cool so nagka crush ako sa kanya"
"Love in the job ba ang nangyari?" tanong ni Kaye
"Y-Yes, five months kami sa Pangasinan, we had a very good time there. I learned a lot and experienced a lot of things. Including being in love" sagot ko
"Oh my gosh kinikilig ako, then what happened next?" tanong ulit ni Kaye
"Like the first one, I needed to go back in Sta. Rosa and she's busy on her work. So hindi na namin tinuloy" sagot ko
"That sucks" sabi ni miss Iris
"I know but I enjoyed it naman, and I know may dadating pang bago. I just hope magtagal na" sabi ko
"It will! Right baby Louise? Kanina ka pa tahimik eh" biglang sabi ni miss Iris
I looked at Irene who rolled her eyes on her sister. She's really not in the mood I guess. Is it because of me? Stupid ko talaga, baka nabigla siya sa mga sinabi ko kanina.
"Here are your orders ma'am, enjoy" sabi ng waiter
"Ay ayan let's eat na" Kaye said
Wala talaga akong gana, I don't know why. Mukha namang masarap yung mojos nila.
"Czarina eat your mojos na, sabi mo you're craving for it" miss Iris said
"Ah y-yeah, thank you" sabi ko na lang at kumain
People started gathering on the dance floor, kanina lang medyo tahimik pa pero now it's getting crowded.
The loud music started playing, Kaye ordered drinks which are very strong and hard.
Ayoko sanang uminom but I feel disappointed. We're supposed to be enjoying the mini reunion but something's bothering me.
