"Up until now hindi pa rin kayo nag-uusap?"
I looked at Kate and just gave her a bored look. We're at the bar, I suddenly feel down. Last time hindi rin ako okay nang pumasok sa lugar na ito.
"What's this place called again?" I asked
"Hmm Rebel Bar" sagot niya
"Why it's called Rebel Bar?"
"Eh kasi Czarina the owner of this bar is a UP graduate. You're not familiar with the inside jokes of UP students aren't you? Alam mo naman siguro yung red-tagging diba?" tanong niya
"I do, officials sees them as a member or involved with the NPAs. Aware naman ako sa nangyayari sa bansa natin Kaye. Now I get why its called Rebel Bar" sagot ko
"Isa pa maraming UP students na laging pumupunta rito so ayun" dagdag niya
Naputol lang ang pag-uusap nang biglang bumalik si Iris. May dala itong inumin at chips.
"Hello girls, here are the drinks let's have some fun tonight!" masaya nitong sabi
Agad akong kumuha ng maiinom. Gosh I want to get wasted tonight.
"Hey Czarina slow down, masyado pang maaga para malasing ka kaagad" Kate uttered
"Let her be babe, so what did my sister do to you? Did you two had a fight kaya ka andito?" Iris asks
"Can we please not talk about Irene tonight? Let's just enjoy partying" I said
"Okay I guess she really did something" Kate said
I sighed before drinking the beer. Maaga pa kaya beer muna ang order namin. Mamaya siguro yung hard drinks.
As I let myself consume the alcohol I suddenly remembered what happened a week ago.
Yes, a week has passed after I left Irene and that Daniel in the office. A week has passed yet she did not even tried talking to me.
Tss ang taas ng pride.
(Flashback)
"I thought you left...gosh Czari don't walk away from me again like that!"
"What are you doing here? Don't tell me you left Mr. Lopez all by himself in the office?" tanong ko
"And so what if I did? Gosh Czarina why did you even left the office?"
Halatang naiinis siya. I heaved out a deep sigh at pinagkrus ang aking mga braso.
"Hindi ba pwedeng magpahangin muna? Tapos na naman akong mag check ng emails at mag ayos ng schedules mo" sagot ko
"I am not stupid! You left because of what Daniel have said"
Hindi ako nakasagot. Iniwas ko na lang ang aking tingin. The staffs started looking at us, maybe because of Irene's loud voice.
"Can you lower down your voice? Pinagtitinginan na tayo" bulong ko
"I don't care, this is your fault. You suddenly left without even saying anything"
"Miss Louise I am sorry, let's just go back to the office"
I wanted to avoid having an argument publicly baka kasi kung ano pa masabi ni Irene. I know she doesn't care if people hear our conversation.
"Miss Louise huh? You really are unbelievable" inis niyang sabi
Irene did not waited for me to talk back and just walked away.
