ARWA'S POV

The next time i regained consciousness, i was glad to see only mama in the room. She just finished praying, and still seated on the prayer mat

"Mama." I croaked out, my throat sore

"My baby." She was by my side in seconds, with tears in her eyes

"Maamaaa." I don't know why but immediately she hugged me i busted into tears.

"Arwa stop crying." She was also crying but telling me to stop

"Mama they raped me." My head was hurting but i couldn't stop my cries

She pulled back but still held me close

"They didnt rape you arwa. You lost consciousness, but the guys that saved you got there before they could."

I took a moment to register everything in my head

I was relieved but then what if they didnt come. And i was still hurt but alhamdulillah nevertheless

When i was much calmer, she helped me to the toilet

I freshened up, with her help of course, since one of my hands is basically handicapped

And i actually felt much better, the fresh air, even though the pains were there, but better

I teared up again when i saw yaya ammar, then baba, my friends, family

Alot of people came to see me, and i felt overwhelmed

Even fatima flew back from school. She was done with her final exams and only had to go back for graduation

But seeing fatima reminded me again that i didn't see saad

"Ya ammar"

"Naam." I didnt realize he was standing with khairat discussing something when i called him

I now felt bad that i Interrupted the conversation, but they brushed it off

"Ina saad? I didn't see him."

He gave me a small smile that didn't reach his eyes before he spoke

"He's with baba. Sunje station."

My mouth made o shape before i turned back to the porridge i was eating

I was done eating and khairat and basma were trying to make up small talks with me

But it was either i zoned out and didn't listen, or get flashbacks of the incident

It got worse when the door was opened

My heartbeat got faster and my breathing shallow

Everything that happened until i passed out flashed again in my eyes

I tightly held unto basma's hand

"W.. Wha.. What is he doing here?"
