The woods near Rosemeadow were deep, nobody dared to go deeper than beyond the lake. Luke and Zander knew that the best out of the student body at Rosemeadow Highschool.
Few people went further than they did. They were merely lucky that the only bad thing to happen on that trip was the spider. Something was always off about the woods, only the most unhinged and far-gone people admitted it.
Henry was one of the few who had gone off the deep end. He was one of the few who knew that the woods had secrets the government wouldn't want released to the public. It's why he began taking walks in the woods in the first place. Hell, he knew something was up before his friends left him.
As his sanity diminished, his walks grew longer and more frequent. It soon got to the point he either was at school, or walking in the woods.
He must've gotten too curious or stopped caring about going to school and having to see his old friends on that fateful night when he went missing.
