Lia woke up feeling even more tired than she was before she went to bed.
"Hey Lia, do you need a lift?" Meredith asked outside her room, entering slowly.
"I'm gonna run this morning, thanks for the offer" Lia replied with a light-hearted smile
"Make sure you eat before you leave please," Meredith said in a motherly tone.

It wasn't long before Lia arrived at the hospital, she noticed Meredith was helping out in a surgery and began quickly getting into her scrubs before going off to watch it.
She walked into the room as George spoke.
"Wish I could hold a heart" she said looking down on her friend in heart surgery with Doctor Burke. 
"A monkey could hold a heart" Cristina said with clear jealousy that she wasn't down there 
performing the surgery.
"Oh no poor Cristina" Lia said earning a pout from Cristina. Lia taunted the girl. 
Izzie walked into the viewing deck
"George I need more ice chips"
George scoffed "Izzie! How many people have you invited to this thing" He asked her
"Izzie we specifically said was only the jocks: plastics, trauma and surgery. Who else?" Cristina asked looking into Izzie's eyes
"Just some people from peds " Izzie said averting her eyes from Cristinas.
"You invited the preschoolers to Meredith's house," Lia said with a scowl. 
"I heard there was a little party at Meredith's house," Alex said 
standing in the doorframe
"Oh really, a party?" Cristina said looking at Alex
"News to me," Izzie said while turning to leave
"No party," George said
"What party?" Lia asked but she was really bad at lying.

"Okay, Lia what do you see?" Bailey asked
"Hyper-inflated lungs, clouded with bullae, seriously diminished capacity. She must be having trouble breathing." Lia took a breath before Bailey asked her next question "Course of action?"
"A bullectomy procedure, we remove the bullae, remove the pressure." Bailey nodded.
"Says here we operated back in '99. So Mrs Drake has been through this before, but talk her through it anyway. And resist the anti-smoking lecture. She probably feels bad enough already." Webber said to the shorter girl
"Oki sir" She said turning around happily
