oops hi
have a hq of brunette sky
the whiskey was gone, and so were ivys feelings by now. she was numb. the numb feeling she had longed for for so long was finally running through her.
that was when she made the decision - not a very smart one - to grab her phone, and dial calums number.
calum panicked when he heard he phone ring, and his heart was racing in his chest when his phone informed him that ivy was calling. he slid his finger across the screen,
"hello? oh my god, hello?" he said, pacing around the room,
"hi there sweet." ivy laughed down the phone. her voice was a slurred mess, and calum swore he could smell the alcohol rolling off her tongue just through the phone,
"you're drunk." he sighed, closing his eyes and rubbing his temple with the hand that wasn't clutched around the phone,
"no, i'm happy." she smiled. ivy began to spin, twirling around the room,
"ivy you're drunk. go to bed." he said, immediately regretting his request. he didn't want put the phone down.
"no, i'm not drunk." she said, laughing quietly.
"ivy, stop. you're drunk, drink some water or something." he sighed. his knuckles were white from just how hard he was gripping the phone,
"how would you know how to sober up?" she spat,
"don't"
"maybe i'll go a-and find a pretty boy to fuck," she continued, her voice angry, like the hurt was clear as she spoke,
"and he can touch me and make love to me, like how i wished you could h-have done before you fucked me over!" she shouted, her voice cracking slightly as her breath hitched in her throat and she began to cry,
"ivy, i'm sorry for that.." he mumbled, his voice quiet, like he could also cry,
"i don't know what else to do, ivy." he kept repeating her name, like it was foreign to him and he needed to keep saying it,
"i want you in my life, i want to kiss you and hold you and make you-" he was crying, "make you happy. why can't you let me do that?"
ivy bit down on her lip. as she took her teeth off the skin, she felt it start to become swollen,
"come over." she mumbled sadly. the alcohol could still be tasted on her tongue.
"what?" calum said, as if he was confused as to who she had demanded to come to her home,
"come over." she repeated, hanging up.
