it was sunday, and after arranging her plans with calum a few days before ivy was beginning to feel anxious. she didn't know why, she just had a bad feeling.

she had found out through gossip at school that the party he was attending was ellies, and ivy wasn't stupid; whether ellie liked calum or not, she would do anything to upset ivy and if that meant using alcohol to grasp the friends of ivy, she would.

calum was now an hour late, all the pair were doing was going to watch a movie,

"we've missed the screening.." ivy muttered to herself, her small conversation with herself interrupted by a knock at the door,

"hi calum." ivy smiled awkwardly as calum put his hands in his pockets, panting seeming out of breath,

"im so sorry, i didn't wake up and- and i had to run because obviously-" he stopped to take a breath,

"my uncle wouldn't drive me so i had to get a b- a bus to get here quicker and i missed it and i ha-"

"calum," ivy chuckled,

"had to run and then i-"

"calum its fine!" she laughed, shaking her head,

"im sorry, we missed the movie.." he mumbled,

"we can just stay and watch a movie here if you want?" ivy questioned quietly,

"i was going to be a real gentleman though, i was going to pay for your ticket and popcorn and-"

"calum," ivy mumbled, grabbing both his hands,

"its okay." she attempted to reassured him.

their faces a mere two inches apart, calum looked up to ivy, his gaze switching between her lips and eyes every few seconds,

"so, about the movie?" ivy mumbled, the words barely audible,

"y-yeah, the movie." calum muttered, moving away with reddened cheeks.

after watching the conjuring and calum constantly complaining that the movie sucked where in reality he was scared, him and ivy were sat comfortably on the sofa talking about whatever they could think of.

"how was the party last night?" ivy asked, not really bothered about how it want but just wanting to talk,

"it was okay, it kinda sucked." he mumbled,

"but less about that." he laughed awkwardly as ivy smiled,

"today's been.. nice." he said, a smile spreading across ivy's face,

"definitely." she said,

the two sat in silence for a moment before calum shuffled closer to ivy, and she copied the movement.

the pair were inches apart.

"maybe we should do it again sometime." calum whispered, ivy responding by locking her vision onto calums lips.

as the two leaned in closer, their lips pressed together fitting in perfect shape. calum slipped a hand around ivy's waist, her hands slipping around his kneck and caressing his jet black hair.

as they pulled away, ivy's hands slipped to calums shirt, pulling gently on the neck line ever so slightly, revealing a fresh purple-red mark.

"i-is that a hickey?" ivy mumbled as calum remained silent.
