"we have school tomorrow." calum mumbled, brushing a piece of hair away from ivy's face,
"yep." she simply replied as he chuckled,
"its halloween too." he said cheerily,
"are you going trick or treating?" ivy asked with a laugh as calum shook his head,
"no, its just a fun time i guess." he said as ivy simply nodded.
even though the pair hadn't known each other for long, you could already feel a connection between the two. they didn't need to know every last detail about each other like favourite colours or shoe size, they just had to enjoy each others presents, which is exactly what they did.
"ivy, its late, like really late," calum began,
"i might need to get going, im confused about getting home as it is." he said,
"okay, do you need me to call you a cab?" ivy asked, shuffling up,
"no, i'll walk, i don't want to get a taxi at three am." he chuckled as ivy sighed,
"you, uh, you don't have to go.." she mumbled as calum gave a small smile,
"do you maybe just, uh, maybe sleep on the couch?" she asked as calum nodded,
"please." he replied, causing ivy to chuckle.

"ivy, its eight.." calum mumbled, poking his head around the corner of ivy's bedroom,
"shit.." she mumbled effortlessly, dragging herself out of bed as calum laughed, heading back to his small area on the couch so ivy could get herself ready.
"calum," ivy called out, turning into the living room where calum was awkwardly sat on the couch,
"hm?" he replied,
"im not going to school today." she said as he chuckled,
"okay," calum was debating whether or not to go to school. he wanted to spend time with ivy but he had only just started attending this school.
"i'll stay off too." he said with a smile as ivy frowned,
"you don't have to." she laughed as he shook his head,
"i want too. i'm going to a halloween party tonight anyway, so i need to get ready." he said firmly as ivy laughed, shaking her head.
