Asther POV
The day was winding down, and my phone buzzed with an incoming call. Leo's name flashed on the screen, and with a deep sigh, I accepted the call. "Leo, what's the latest absurdity you're plotting now?" I grumbled, my grumpy mood evident in my tone.

Leo's laughter echoed through the line. "Asther, my man, always a ray of sunshine. Just wondering, what's the silliest thing you've done today? Any record-breaking grumpiness, perhaps?"he teased responding to my grumpiness.

I rolled my eyes, Leo's mischievous nature always managing to poke through my serious demeanor. "Leo, I'm knee-deep in architectural sketches and business deals. No time for your antics today. What's the real reason for the call?"

Leo chuckled, "Alright, no more jokes. How about we grab dinner today at Stars and catch up? It's been so long since we hangout. By the way, did I tell you about the latest gem collection we launched at my jewelry firm?"

I chuckled at Leo's cheerful banter. "Ohh, you finally did it! Congrats, man. That gem collection better be as dazzling as you make it sound," I teased.

Leo laughed, "You bet! It's called 'Stellar Radiance.' We're making waves in the jewelry scene, just like you do in the architectural world."

I agreed. I couldn't help but feel genuinely happy for Leo's success. His journey from our school days to becoming the CEO of his own jewelry firm, JewelVista , crafting collections like "Stellar Radiance," spoke volumes about his dedication and passion . These have eventually made him this successful and made his firm one of top 10 jewellery brands in the world.

As we chatted, Leo threw in a funny story about his attempt at learning a magic trick. The guy always had a way of making me laugh, even on the most serious days.

This took me back to the day when we became friends. Back in school, we were both terrible at soccer, accidentally kicking the ball in the wrong direction and ending up in a heap of laughter. From that day on, Leo and I stuck together, navigating the ups and downs of life with our own brand of humor. Little did I know that our shared love for a good laugh would lead to a lifelong friendship.

"Alright, Leo. It's a plan then. See you at Stars at 7 PM," I said, bidding him goodbye.Let's see what tonight has in store for me!

Arriving home, I stepped into my penthouse, greeted by the sleek modern design and panoramic views of the city. The living room featured contemporary art, and the soft glow of ambient lighting added a touch of warmth to the sophisticated space.

After taking a refreshing shower, I headed to my wardrobe for a quick scan. There, I selected a tailored navy suit, adding a subtle touch of style with a silk pocket and with that I made my way to the garage. I hopped into my sleek black Aston Martin Vanquish – a real beauty.

As I drove through the city, I couldn't help but admire the city view. At the signal light turned red light , my gaze wandered, and I spotted a girl maybe in her early twenties with short stature and chocolate brown hair, playing with a lively puppy . I couldn't see her face, but there was something charming about the scene that made me smile.

As the signal turned green, I continued on my way, I don't know why but the image of that cute girl didn't leave my headspace. Little did I know that this chance encounter would reveal a story yet to be written.
