"Jennie what happened?" Taehyung asked scanning Jennie from head to toe

He had noticed the absence of Jennie and after asking Rosé he found out she had went to use the restroom.
But she was taking abnormally long time, so getting worried he came to check

While Taehyung rushed to check on her, he found her running out of the place and was about to stumble down because of her heels but he caught her in time

Jennie looked up at him, seeing the person who saved her from falling on her butt

Taehyung noticed the fear on her face, as if she was running away from someone

Jennie seemed to realise the position they were in.
Because to prevent her from falling he had pulled her up close to him, which resulted in her crashing against his chest and one of her hand was on his shoulder for support while Taehyung's hand was snaked around her waist

To move back Jennie removed her hand from his shoulder, as she tried to take a step back, but failed in the attempt due to Taehyung's hand wrapped around her which held her close to him

Jennie looked up to meet Taehyung's worried gaze. His hand moved closer to her face, pushing a loose hair strand behind her ear

"What happened ?" Taehyung asked again, Jennie remained quiet staring down

It made Taehyung frustrated,
He couldn't seem to figure out why she was like this

He held her chin, making her look up at him
"Are you alright ?" He asked gently but the worry in his voice was not hidden

"I-i'm alright" Jennie managed to speak.
Jennie didn't want to tell Taehyung about anything that just happened, she hated it how he mostly acts likes he doesn't care about her existence, but right now he is looking so worried as if his life depends on her

She fails to understand him and what is going on inside of him

Taehyung knows that Jennie is lying by saying that she is alright when is really is not. It doesn't matter how hard Jennie's face tries to hide the fear, he could see the truth in her eyes

"Jennie your really are not alright and I can clearly see that" he stated as she looked away

"Why are you not telling me ?"

"Why should I even tell you" she blurt out without looking at him, He hated her behavior but he knows that he cannot blame her for being like this

"You won't tell me, won't you ?" He asked her for the last time

"I am alright and have nothing to tell you" she said and continued to try to get rid of the grip he has around her

Seeing her struggle, Taehyung released his hold.
But as soon as he did so Jennie quickly leaned against the wall for support, turns out that she has probably sprained her ankle and was standing just because of Taehyung

At the spot Jennie mentally swore to never even touch these heels ever again

Taehyung also noticed that Jennie cannot walk or even stand on her own.
He quickly kneeled down making Jennie wonder what is he doing, he removed the heels off her feet and threw them somewhere around the hall, making it clear that he would appreciate if Jennie would not wear these again

Taehyung then swooped Jennie up from the floor, holding her firmly in her arms.
Jennie was shocked as she never expected him to do this because she was mentally preparing herself to hop on one feet all the way back to Taehyung's car

"Taehyung what the hell are you doing ?, put me down !!!" Jennie protested

"So you can fall down on your ass" Taehyung spoke, one of Jennie's hand snaked around his neck for extra support

"I can walk just fine" Jennie said trying to act tough but in reality she knows that she won't be able to take a single step on her own

"Sure you can, as if I clearly did not see you leaning against the wall for support as soon as I released you.
So now stop arguing like a child and be thankful for having me" he stated and walked into the hall with her being secured in his arms

Entering in the hall Taehyung made Jennie sit on a chair, Rosè quickly came to up to check on her best friend as Jimin followed

"Sit here and be still, don't dare to put weight on your feet.
I will go and call Nancy and then we will go back to our house" Taehyung

"Ofcourse you won't leave without her" Jennie mumbled quietly while looking down but Taehyung heard her

After around two minutes Taehyung came back with Nancy on his side

Nancy's blood was boiling as she saw Taehyung pick Jennie up in his arms.
She felt completely betrayed,
She should've been there, I his arms
That's where she belongs, with him.
When she came back to Korea she was sure that she would succeed in getting the love of her life back and both of them would have a happy ending but she saw her world shatter when she came to know that Taehyung is married.
Anger blew up in her as she clutched her hands tight, trying to stop herself from doing something stupid.
She knows that she is going to make Taehyung fall in love with her again and throw Jennie out of their lives.
She is just waiting for the perfect timing.

Walking upto the car, Taehyung carefully made Jennie sit on the front seat and then his hand reached to the seat belt

"You know that my ankle is the one hurt not my hand, I can put the seat belt on my own" Jennie spoke

"Can you stay quiet for once" he spoke getting tired by her bickering and then continued by pulling the seat belt

Jennie noticed how his face is so close to her's, as he makes her wear the seat belt,
She can feel his warm breath on her's.
Taehyung's eyes made contact with Jennie's, they both continued staring into each other deeply

Their moement was interrupted by the sudden sound of the car's back door being shut.
As Nancy sat in the car, fuming in rage

After the short car drive,
Taehyung got out of the car and walked around to open the door for Jennie and the again picked her up,
She didn't protest this time and just let him carry her.
Taehyung walked inside with her, leaving Nancy behind

With his left leg he kicked the door to their bedroom open and laid Jennie on the bed.
"Wait here" Taehyung spoke, 'as if I can walk' Jennie said in her mind

After a minute Taehyung returned with a first aid box. He sat on the bed opening the box and taking out the ointment.
He examined Jennie's sprained ankle which is a little swollen by now,
He applied ointment on it and wrapped it with a bandage

Jennie couldn't help but get butterflies, seeing the way he is caring for his.
'Why can't he be like this with me all the time' she wishes

"Don't move your foot to much until it is really important, now go to sleep, you need some rest" he said

"I cannot possibly sleep in this dress" I said as I actually cannot sleep in the dress tight dress, yes this dress is really preety but would be extremely uncomfortable to sleep in

"Oh right, now where are your pajamas at ?" He asked as Jennie told him.
He walked out of her closet and handed the teddy bear pajamas to her

"What, do you need me to help you change now ?" Taehyung teased as he saw her looking at him after he handed her the pajamas

"No hell no !!! But I cannot change until you are still here" Jennie

"You change here and I will go and take a quick shower" Taehyung spoke walking out of there

When he came out he heard her wife's soft snores as she slept hugging nini,
He walked closer to make sure she is properly covered with the blanket and then placed a pillow under her sprained ankle

Taehyung then took out the phone from his pocket and searched for a number in his contacts
"I need the footage from the security camera outside the restroom of that party hall, Immediately !"

So this was end of this chapter
