"Christmas!" I shouted as I woke up, sitting bolt upright in bed.
I leapt out of bed, looking briefly at my clock. It was 8am - way too late for me. I ran out of my bedroom and towards mom and dad's room.
"Mama, papa, it's Christmas!" I yelled, shaking my mom's sleeping figure.
"Steve, get Yelena and Kate up would you?" mom replied sleepily, nudging my hand away.
I saw dad sit up and get out of bed, so ran over and hugged him tightly.
"Has Santa been?" I asked. "Can we go see if Santa's been?"
"Of course little one," dad chuckled, rubbing my back as I hugged him. "Let's go get Auntie Yelena and Auntie Kate up first."
"Yessss!" I cried, bouncing up and down.
I ran out of the bedroom and went to the room that Yelena and Kate were sharing. They were only sharing whilst everyone was here, and this had made me think Kate and Yelena were married. It took mom explaining to me that they were just friends and sleeping in the same bedroom because we were here to understand.
"Kate Kate Kate!" I shouted, shaking her shoulder then ran over to Yelena's bed and shook her aggressively. "Yelenaaaaa get uuup Santa's been!"
Kate sat up quickly in bed, so I went over to her and pulled her out. Yelena at first was startled, then fell back into bed with a tired groan.
"What's wrong with Auntie Yelena?" I asked Auntie Kate, gripping onto her hand.
"Oh she's just being moody," Kate replied.
I heard the annoyed grunt from Yelena, "Shut up Kate Bishop."
"Kate Bishop," I instantly repeated the name as I dragged Kate out of the room.
Dad was waiting outside.
"Let's do this then," Kate said to dad as I urged, "Come onnnn!"
Chrismas with the Romanoff-Rogers was always one of the most traditional things we did.
First, of course, we opened our presents together. Then we went to the compound, where Wanda and Pietro were cooking Christmas Dinner. We celebrated all day - me and Morgan playing together - and finally went to bed when the adults started to have a party.
That, was my 5th Christmas.
