A Giyushino Ship Story .
A poor woman who lives in a cottage with her 3 sisters and father, short tempered and insecure, obsessed with making medicine and looking at butterflies, who also loves ghost stories and horror. Shinobu Kochō
A lonely man...
A soft golden glow of candle-light lit up the dark bedroom, which belonged to our one and only Butterfly, Shinobu. Shinobu sat on her bed, her legs hung over the bed and her book was in her hands. Words trailing through her head as she read. The Other day, she had been walked home by Giyuu, again. Their bond had really grew, it went from Shinobu shouting at him when he was invited to dinner, too them talking and him walking her home safely. Shinobu remembered his face yesterday, when they had first seen eachother at the festival and he had gotten all suprised. That face made her giggle to herself in the middle of reading her book.
One problem though, was with her father. She still hadn't talked to him at all, and she barely looked at him when they were in the same room, she was still ticked off about the lie he told, but the hard thing was—
she wanted to forgive him. But she felt like she couldn't.
She was so angry about the whole lie, but was slowly realizing how much she missed her father. She missed when he pat her head, asked her how her day was, when they cooked together. She missed when he'd try and help her to make medicine but would fail, when he'd piggyback her, when he'd take her out with him to run errands, when he'd take her to the lake, she missed when they'd do that, and she was so dismissive and angry at him she didn't realize before how much she missed him. She released an exhausted sigh, tired of how the things in her life were going so far. She then remember something else, Aoi. Kanae was with her friends, and would be sleeping over for what they call a "Slumber Party". Their father was out on a mission, and Kanao was already asleep. Aoi however, was not home. She had to stay late because she had many more customers than the rest of the girls, and had to clean up her stand and re-oraganize everything before she left, which she always did, since she was obsessed with organizing, but the strange thing was.. they only stayed until 6:00, and she didn't have that many customers in line just enough for her to have to stay longer, it was now 10:00, she should've been home! Had she been robbed? Or worse.. Shinobu's heart-rate began to speed up a tiny bit and a sweat bead formed on her forhead, as she was now quite nervous for Aoi.
"Aoi isn't that strong.. She doesn't own any sort of weapon or item to protect herself.. what if a demon attacks her!? This is the time they are said to come out!" Shinobu thought. She stood up and placed her book down onto her bed. She was still in her day-time clothes because she had gotten so swept into her book, she had forgotten to dress into her night-gown. But atleast she wouldn't have to change back into her old clothes! She opened her door and shut it firmly. She walked downstairs and went to the coat rack, grabbing a white haori and placing it over herself. She grabbed herself a lantern, and lit the candle inside. She then made her way outside, shutting the door more gentiler this time, as to not wake Kanao. She looked up at the sky, a pitch black sky, filled with the beautiful stars, making it look glamorous. She then looked straight ahead and bit her bottom lip, admittedly scared, but doing it to find and protect her sister. She walked through the dark forest, twisting branches with vines hanging down. She walked through the tree's natural curtains and contuined walking. Twigs cracked, bushes rustled, leaves withered from the branches of the tree's. The forest defiantly wasn't in anyway comforting at night, she felt as a branch lifted her haori, a shiver went down her spine and a small gasp escaped her. When she turned around, it was just her haori stuck on the branch. She simply tugged it off and contuined walking.
