~Authers POV~

.

The sun rung hot in the sky, it was beginning to shift to winter and still the sun hung overhead, hot and hard as its rays showered everyone beneath. Orange leaves dropped to the ground and the thick veins of the trees hid underneath.  Shinobu was there sitting on the veranda of the Tomioka residence where she had been brought back too, and instead of wearing a grand dress decorated with jewels or ribbons, she was wearing a simple pair of hakama. Her hands splintered into the veranda out of excitement as she observed Giyuu train, beating a dummie with a wooden sword. The dummie was stuffed with straw, as it was pounded and clashed by the sword, straw would fall out. Shinobu's eyes twinkled as she watched with amazement, this was what he did in his free time? Train for the harsh job that weighed over his shoulders? She supposed it was, and that saddened her soul.

She was accepted by Gyomei to be trained, Giyuu somewhat accepted her but worried deep down, another loved one of his couldn't be hurt. After demonstrating a perfect slash against the dummie, he turned his head over to her. Eyes like a pool of snakes stared at her, deep and sapphire with no emotion but all the pain and scarfs left from said emotion, his face was always serious. "Replicate my movements, to be a Demon Slayer you must have stealth." his voice was still like a lake one had skipped stones in, he looked down upon her as his shadow weighed over her figure. She nodded and rested her head in both hands. "Yes, I see." she replied. He turned his attention back to the dummie, straw poking out of it and stains wearing themselves onto the sack that hung over the hay. Shinobu let out a small breath, the birds chirping was lullabying her despite it being the middle of the day, but she kept her focus on Giyuu. She observed and analyzed the way he struck the dummie, hard and swift with his movements and careful to not dare wobble. She was pensive as she looked at him. till he knocked her out of her thoughts.

"Kochō." he spoke sternly, she blinked and looked upwards. "Hm? Is training done already?" she asked curiously, he shook his head and passed over a wooden sword. She squeaked with suprise and caught it, giving him an annoyed glare. "We're just beginning, no training is only 5 minutes long." his voice was almost teasing, he twisted around back to the field where the dummie stood. Shinobu followed closely.
