A Giyushino Ship Story .
A poor woman who lives in a cottage with her 3 sisters and father, short tempered and insecure, obsessed with making medicine and looking at butterflies, who also loves ghost stories and horror. Shinobu Kochō
A lonely man...
The crumpled blossoms fell from the trees like raindrops, piling poetically together and sinking into the mud where they began to ruin. Giyuu stood in the doorway between his shoji doors, sensing the missing presence of the teasing butterfly girl, the butterfly girl who constantly pestered him, the butterfly girl he loved and made a home for in his heart. He knew he was right when Kanae Kocho— the eldest daughter— came out with a frightened expression painted over her usually calm and soft face. She hustled over to him her hair bouncing with her movements. "Tomioka - san!" she cried out, reaching him with that same panicked expression on her. "Do you know where Shinobu is? We haven't seen her since this morning.." Kanae panted, her hair slightly disheveled and her eyes glimmering like hidden treasure. Giyuu's eyes widened, now with the confirmation that she had perhaps run away or gotten kidnapped. "I..." he started, his body tensing up like a stiff tree. "I haven't seen her... what happened!?" he spoke up, his eyebrows furrowed like a storm as he began to feel more worry swelling in his soul. Kanae shook her head rapidly, trying to clear her thoughts and shake her tears away. "I'm not sure! She just vanished!" she cried, wiping a small tear that hid in the corner of her eye. Giyuu's breath hitched, "Was it because of the argument we had?" he thought, as he turned his head back to the poor woman in front of him. "How long has she been gone for!?" he asked, she sniffled. "Since this morning... she—she didn't even leave a note or anything!" she sobbed. Giyuu grunted, stepping backward to the veranda. "I'll go look for her, you and your sisters stay here." his voice was firm, but she could hear the dripping of concern in it.
She nodded, the wind swept by and suddenly he was gone. Her hair waterfalled down her back as she sniffled. "Shinobu..." she whispered.

Meanwhile, Shinobu ran as the night sky hovered over her, the stars like a dropped pouch of salt. Her dress bounced around her knees, her hair waterfalling into her face as large trees surrounded her, blocking away any other thing she could see from the corner of her eye.
She wasn't going to let anyone stop her anymore— not that she was running away fully —. She didn't want anyone else to be stuck in her position, any other little girl to have to watch her parents be torn to shreds in front of them. The pitter-patter of her feet slapping the ground echoed throughout the dark woods. She knew by now that her sisters or Giyuu had probably gone out to search for her but she didn't care, and maybe her mind was clouded with anger over the fact she felt like a bird trapped in a cage. She knew one thing though, she would become a part of the demon Slayer Corps and do as much as she could to help. She knew she'd go to find her father first, perhaps have him train her or find a trainer for him. The only problem was that she had no clue where the man was, a puzzling moment that swelled in her mind. She stopped in her tracks, her breath hitching as she began to pant and swung over placing her hands to her knees. "I've been running for a while now...where is Father? I need to find him. Perhaps he will allow me to join." She thought with hope dripping from her thoughts like honey. She then remembered how her father had mentioned that he was staying with one of his friends in a village not far off, her eyes glimmered with hope for a minute. She stood up straight, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and dusting herself off. "I'll find you, I know where you are!" she spoke to herself and hurried to the village. Gyomei had taken her and her sister to that village for festivals when they were younger, the location and how to get there was a memory stamped in her brain, it wouldn't be a problem getting there, except for the risk of demons...
