Seungcheol walked through the crowded place, people passing through from his front and behind while Soonyoung and Chan kept on fighting about which swing was better to their liking. Seungcheol lowkey knew, no matter what wheel they choose, both of them will come out crying rives the moment their adventure ends.

"Hyung, you wanna go up there? On ferries wheel?"

Seungcheol looked up at the big round god knows how rotating wheel in front of them. Though the line was big and even before he could put his point, he was dragged by his teammates, Minghao following them from behind which Mingyu decided to stay back due to his fear of hight.

But Minghao wasn't having it at all so with Seungcheol being dragged by Soonyoung and Chan, Mingyu was dragged by Minghao, the man who refused to go up alone. Mingyu though cried that he can't but since Minghao was persistent about it, he decided to give up and accept his fate.

Each compartment of the wheel had space for two people, though three people were allowed in too but when Seungcheol was there making his way between the crowd to follow up the cabinet of Soonyoung and Chan, the wheel rotated up and he was left with a new compartment.

He sat in there, ofcourse with much hesitation. But he couldn't retreat, not when he had paid for the ride. After Seungcheol, there sat a man, black cap, black jacket, black jeans and even a black mask. What could be more weird than watching a man dressed in all black on a new year's night?

Unconsciously, Seungcheol stared at the man for more time than he should have done. The man on the other hand removed his cap when the wheel rotated further, taking it's time before starting to fill all the compartments.

His hair were long, atleast long enough as they would fall on his shoulders. Seungcheol couldn't help but wonder where he saw those hair, cause they were very familiar, too much to be true.

And as expected, when the man removed his mask, Seungcheol's heart skipped a beat in mid air.

"What are you doing here?!"

He almost yelled, looking around to see if anyone was watching them or where his teammates were just to end up with nothing. He was in mid air, with a criminal, on new year's night, what could be worst than that.

"Many things." 1004 said calmly as if he was reading to Seungcheol's mind all these while. Seungcheol still spoke up to confirm, "What did you say?"

"I said there could be many things worst than having me around, you know."

Seungcheol wasn't having it at all, "Don't tell me you are following me!"

1004 shrugged his shoulders, "I mean you have a face that can make me follow you around but no. I am not following you. I just saw you here and thought about why not greet you since it's new year?"

"Are you kidding me?!!" Seungcheol was raging in anger only for 1004 to grab the iron bars tightly the moment the ferries wheel started rotating for real. the speed was still slow but 1004 seemed like he was loosing his consciousness.

He screamed, "Fuck!!"

Seungcheol watched 1004  breathing becoming abnormal, his face growing paler the moment the ferries wheel caught a little speed. He couldn't help but ask the man in front,  his brows frowned in confusion, "Are you...okay?"

And 1004 wasn't. It was so visible from his face the moment he looked over Seungcheol. Taking few deep breaths to calm himself down, as he decided to speak, "Can I just hold onto- fuck it!" And the very next moment, all Seungcheol knew was 1004 changing his seats and throwing himself on Seungcheol, hiding his face on Seungcheol's neck as he screamed, "Please don't leave me! Please! I beg you! I am scared these!"

He was definitely not in his right mind and Seungcheol knew why, "Why did you even bother coming here if you are scared of rides?"

The man, now in Seungcheol's embrace, hugged him more tightly. His eyes were shut closed while his uneven breathing hit Seungcheol's bare skin, "I saw you and followed without thinking where you were going. I only remembered i am scared of these when it started."

The man was almost sitting on Seungcheol's lap though there was much place for him to sit beside. Seungcheol told him to shift but he was too scared to even open his eyes. it almost made Seungcheol scold him further due to annoyance, "You must be crazy! Why did you even follow me to here in the first place?!"

"Told you it was to wish you a new year!! Can't you fucking understand a single sentence?!"

Seungcheol was taken aback. This man, right here, was too weird to be true. What does he mean by that he followed Seungcheol, without considering where he was going, just to wish him new year? What kind of logic was that?

And when the speed of wheel was at its peek, the man screamed so loudly near Seungcheol's ears that even made Seungcheol feel like he would go deaf with that intensity of screaming.

"Stop shouting or I'll leave you immediately!"

Jeonghan seemed really afraid by that fact that Seungcheol will really leave him, in mid air, as he wrapped his arms around Seungcheol more tightly, bribing him this time, "I'll tell you my name if you hold me tighter."

Seungcheol thought he heard wrong, "What?"

"My name, my official government name, I'll tell you that. Just hug me tighter please and don't leave me until this stops."

Seungcheol thought it was a fair deal so he did hug back the man, tightly without even any need to be reminded again. The man was shivering within his hold, eyes shut close when the wheel finally stopped, going down a little by little.

The man though didn't leave him at all so Seungcheol had to tap his back slightly, "It's over."

The little reminder made the man leave Seungcheol and finally look back from his neck. As their eyes met, the first thing Seungcheol saw was his messy hair, his watery eyes and his red cheeks.

He was really scared of rides.

Jeonghan himself got back to his seat without being reminded again. Though this time he wasn't speaking anything, waiting for their turn to get out, Seungcheol on the other hand didn't ask him anything either. The man looked traumatised, and Seungcheol lowkey knew he wasn't going to tell him anything as secretive as his name.

When they were next one in line to get out, the man suddenly spoke, "Yoon Jeonghan."

"Huh?" Seungcheol asked being confused.

"My name, it's Yoon Jeonghan."

It was their turn to get out and the moment the time came, Jeonghan was the first one to step off the cabinet followed by Seungcheol as the second.

Seungcheol expected threats, like warning he should be given where he wasn't supposed to tell that name to anyone else by the man. He lowkey thought it was fake name too but when Jeonghan turned towards him, his doubts disappeared, "That's my real name. I know I could be getting into a big trouble after telling you that but you helped me today and since I like you, you deserve to know my name."

Seungcheol was standing frozen by the confession when Jeonghan spoke again, "And might i remind you, it's not friends type of like, it's like how two people like eachother, in Romance books, that type of like. and i would definitely kiss you at the moment but since I feel like vomiting, i should get going. Bye and happy new year."

And he disappeared with in Seungcheol's gaze like he never existed. He was still standing on his spot, paralysed when Soonyoung and others came to him, holding a half dead Mingyu who had also cried on the same ride.

He yelled while looking at the wheel, "You fucking piece of shit- do you even know who am I?! I'll see you for making me feel like-"

And he ran away, probably feeling the nauseousness getting into his head. Seungcheol wanted to fight back with the ferries wheel on behalf of Mingyu, atleast he would feel somewhat better and less turmoiled.
