Natalia POV

Gustafson Manor

It's been two weeks since I was brought here to live in Romania. I have adjusted to this quiet environment. I am not allowed to leave the manor, which I understand for my safety. I tried to keep myself busy by helping the house elves keep the house clean. However, Alex didn't like what I was doing. He quoted," You are my guest, not my maid," He would laugh.

"Well...?" I waited for his opinion.

"Delicious," Alex poked my nose after trying my cookies. He looked at the box of cookies on the counter.

I chuckled. He munched the cookie," But in all seriousness, Nattie. Your cookies taste splendid," Alex complimented. Appreciate his sincere kind words.

I looked at the time, everyone must be awake at the sanctuary," Well, it's time for me to go," I grabbed my coat and gloves.

Alex stared at the window, I could tell something was on his mind, "What's wrong?" I asked.

"My cousin offered me to work with him in the Ministry. I would work as his Junior Assistant in the Ministry. But... I must protect my dragons and help the dragon keepers," Alex relied on me to talk about his worries.

"Hey! I know it worries you that this place would get taken from you. But it won't because you have Charlie, your brother-"

"And you!" Alex added. I nodded.

"Yes. The point is you are not alone in taking care of the dragons. I know you love them and you wish to become Supreme Mugwump. Becoming a Junior Assistant is an open opportunity. No one has graduated and has been offered a high-ranked position. I would ask if I could do part-time." I told him my thoughts.
