3. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐢 𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐩

Sonu's POV 

My work completed for the day. But I didn't go again in boss' cabin to give the files. Handed over to Dinesh sir. 

Returned back to pg and didn't take my dinner. Just laid on bed started shuffling the incidents of today in my mind.

Mahendra sir might be really trying to console me but his way wasn't comfortable for me. It seemed soo flirty, or I'm taking this like flattery.

One thing is clear... the long haired man however ruined my nap. Because I couldn't close my eyes once in the entire night.

Next Morning 

I felt too much tired due to the sleepless night. A severe headache also. But I didn't want to be absent in office in the first week of joining.

However I reached in office and sat down clenching my head.

'Suresh bhai'

I looked behind.

'Yes Chiku'

'Yuvi bhai aaj aaye hain, you can meet him if you wish'  He said politely than usual. 

I should be happy for this but I feld bad somewhere. Chiku's clumsy nature annoyed me but his calm behaviour also hurted me. Maybe yesterday I scolded him so...

I just nodded my head and about to stood up to visit Yuvi bhai.

'Aaann Mahi bhai is also in the cabin' he said a little hesitatingly.

Don't know why, I sacked the intention of going there and focused in work.

'No no you can go Suresh bhai... ummm Mahi bhai won't bother you anymore'

I looked at him in confused eyes.

'He told you ? And how do you know I'm not going because of him ?'

'Yes he told me... for yesterday...'

'Haan... what did he say ?'

'That he won't bother you again and sorry for yesterday's behaviour'

'And why suddenly he said so ?'

'Yesterday you said na bhaiya... to tell him not to bo...'

'Aur tune bol diya !??'

'Haan'  Chiku made innocent pout.

'WHYYYY ??? What dis you say ? Tell me thoroughly now!!'

I thought is he mad ? I said something in anger and he took that seriously and directly said to boss!!

'I just said that you're angry on him and you told not to bother you'

'Tu pagal hai Chiku ??'  tears rolled in my eyes I don't know why... 

Chiku drop himself to silent mode making an innocent face. My headache increased double. I wished to hit my head on table.

After too much struggle I got the job, now I'm trying to satisfy my bosses and this little boy has no sense where to say what!! Uff God!

Two hour passed.

However, I've started my work. 

Suddenly Yuvi bhai called me by Deepak.

How can I go ? Mahendra sir is also there. I felt too much ashamed. But I have to go.

.

'May I come in Yuvi bhai'

I asked for permission, never do the mistake again.

'Arey Suresh! I told you that you don't need to ask... come come. Sit down'

I entered the room and saw Mahendra sir in crooked eye .. just for a glance.

I saw he was sitting another table at a little distance from Yuvi bhai, focusing on magazine. Can't understand anything seeing his face.

I sat down in front of Yuvi bhai.

'What happened re ? You didn't visit me earlier ?'

'Woh bhai umm actually... a little headache...'

'For work ? Then I can reduce your files'

'No no bhai not for that. Aann actually I couldn't sleep properly yesternight so...'

'Ohh but why ?'

What could I say ? Your bestfriend became a nightmare for me !?

'Umm its new place... may be for that...'

'Are ree... don't worry. You will habitual and if you're feeling troubled then you can go home now'

'No bhaiya it's ok. I'll go after completing my work'  I said clenching my forehead. I was really feeling troubled but I didn't want to escape from duty.

'DEEPAK!!' 

Mahendra sir shouted suddenly. I was startled badly. Deepak rushed in the room.

'Yes sir'

'Its our tea time did you forget ?'

'I'm sorry sir, I'm coming in five minutes'

'Make one cup with ginger' 

'Ok sir'

Deepak went away. 

'Tu ginger tea piyega Mahi ?'  Yuvi sir asked him.

'No. Its for your brother'

Yuvi sir stared at me. Then said;

'But he didn't say that he need ginger tea'

'Ginger tea can give him relief from his headache'  He said not even looking at us.

'You should be a doctor Mahi' Yuvi bhai said teasingly.

I don't like ginger tea but I that day I drank it totally. And seriously got a little relief. But I didn't get an opportunity to talk with the man, to say him sorry. 

At afternoon Yuvi bhai went away. He was only in the cabin. I went to submit the files followed by Chiku but he completely ignored me.

Yesterday this man was larking with me with a flirty smile and I felt annoyed... but today the lack of smile in his face made me feel hurted.

But why ? Who is he to me ? Not a relative, not a brother, even not a friend. 

I sighed deeply and another office day passed.
