CHAPTER 2: Set them apart like a gap between teeth part 1

Diane POV

Sh*t it 7:30 am! Am gonna be late!

Multitasking everything. Brushing my teeth and taking a bath.
Who does that? Yup me.

Luckily I prepared my clothes yesterday before i jump out my bed. OCD can be helpful sometimes. I immediately wears my undies and plain peach skirt that pass below my knees paired with dark blue colored blouse then i applied small amount of make-up to brightens up my pale face and fix those gigantic brows i got. letting my hair down with a messy curl i like.

Rushing downstairs. Heard mom and Andre talking in the kitchen. Mom facing the stove cooking while andre eating at the dining table.

"Mom, i didn't come home late last night. You just didn't saw me sleeping at my room" Andre explain while drinking a glass of orange juice

"Don't fool me Dre. I saw you walking at the front door last night and it was passed midnight. Where were you?"

"But mo-"

" -Lying can get you ground for eternity dre" mom lectured putting the bacon at the table

Andre muttered and eyeing like a hawk with a flashcard on it that says "help me" when saw me across the room

"Hi mom, good morning" then kiss her left cheek and slide my way to the chair where i'm opposite from my brother.

"Hi honey, good morning too." Mom answered

"Finally your here your highness. Can you please hurry up?" Andre said with a sarcasm

"Don't be rude to your sister Andre Matthew. Did you forget what you did last-"

"-Mom, i told you. I was in my room. Dee can justify to that. " Andre said eyeing me with a please-help-me-and-i'll-be-a-good-brother-look while mom is facing backwards cooking the last bacon.

Then i smirk at him with you'll-pay-for-what-you-did-to-me-look

His eyes got big like a marble and muttered "please"

"Mom isn't like it's new. He always sneaking out past midnight-"

"Andre-" Mom interrupt

I continued

"-but he asked permission yesterday if he can go to Matt for science project and i said yes. I forgot to tell you " i explained then munching the yummy bacon that made my mouth water; my glands and tummy happy.

"It's ok honey but i'm not happy you sneaking out at night Andre. You know how dangerous outside. Specially at midnight-"

"-mom i know. I'm sorry didn't asked you. I'm not gonna do it again" Andre said trying to convince mom with a relieve tone and eyeing me with thank-you-look

"You better be." mom answered. Looking at him unsurely.

Mom is a one of a heck kindest and most loving mother. And yes i have a dad and still working at Los Angeles, California for 10 years now. Andre is the youngest who's 16 years old and currently in highschool. I have 3 brothers actually and i'm the eldest. Connor William (25), a business graduate and helping dad at work and Mason Ethan (20), Hardheaded boy and studying at Spartan College of Auronautics and Technology.

I missed them so much. I wish Maryland and Los angeles can be so close and can't be separated but unfortunately luck and fortune set them apart like a gap between teeth. It doesn't make sense right?

"Dee, don't forget you promise me you'll be the one send me to school. You know my car broke down, right?" Andre interrupt my thoughts and standing up and putting his plate on the sink.

"Y-yes dre. How could i forgot" i answered annoyingly

Thanks who ever read and haven't read it yet. I know you never read this part. (Just like me. Guilty incharge!) but anyway update me with your comments and suggestions.

My inspiration for this story is non other than Nick Bateman who is the hottest and handsome man i've ever seen in this planet! And Lily Collins who is pretty, sweet and Captain American Chris Evan's lady which i don't know if they are still together or not. So much perfection I can't get enough! XD Sorry still trap in my lalafantasyland. :D
