CHAPTER 2: Set them apart like a gap between teeth part 2

Diane POV

I drove the car to Washington street where WesternHigh is located.

"Your lucky i'd settled it with mom and save your ass back there-

"I know i know. I pay you back. I be your slave if you want to."

"Great! Now that you said it. My room and laundry needs major cleaning!" Facing him with delight

"Oh NO! Not that one! Cleaning you room is fine but washing you clothes is a big problem!"

"Okay okay. I take care of the washing part." I replied, Parking outside the school's foyer.

"Thanks for the ride dee. I know i can count on you." Andre said as he climbed down the car

"Go home early after school, okay?" I mocked, looking out the window

"Yes mother." He said with a chuckle, waving his right hand goodbye as he walk forward the yard. i drove the car back to the buzy street of Baltimore.

"Hello Ms Diane! You always brighten up my day!" Anton greet me as i walk to the entrance of the company.

Well you see Anton is in his late 40's, big guy with a big heart. He has those dad bun bulging his bodyguard uniform and his loyal and trustworthy for this company for years now. I treat him like a father figure.

I laugh and greet him "Good morning to you too, Anton. Did Mr Martinez already pass by?" I asked

"No maam. If his here then you'll be caught." He said jokingly

I look at him, smile and jokingly said "better hurry up before he shows up" walking pass freely with my nude stilettos on.

I look at my silver watch as i ride the elevator to the top floor. And other employees greet me as always.

"Dang it's 9:01am" i murmured

I drop by the coffee corner for boss' favorite coffee then headed back to my desk located outside near the door where it separates from my boss office. organized what i left yesterday. I sort the folders from very least to the most important papers that needs to be sign by Mr. Martinez. Weird right?

I heard the elevator opened and seen on my peripheral view, There's two people walking forward my table while i'm buzy docking and sorting the files.

As raised my head to meet them.
"Good Morning Boss-" i said unknowingly

My eyes bulge at their socket in a discreet way. I almost dropped the files. My whole body shivers and my face turned pale like i've seen a ghost. A hot ghost.
