If you get confused with the whole grade things please don't worry I don't either...

The verse that I'm using:

I just really hate your face
Though I know that won't surprise you
But, to me, your skin is one giant wart
And your laugh's one big snort
And you stink, so in short
I despise you
You disgrace the human race
'Cause you're more of a mosquito
I would rather have the dentist and drill
Then this swine in the swill
And if you were a bill, I would veto
And if the world was perfect, you would be gone without a trace
But since the world could never be that great
I'll just hate your stupid face

Grian never understood why he was so filled with hatred and negativity towards others. It just felt like the right thing to do, the perfect way to behave. Except when it came to his older sister Pearl and his best friends Big B and Mumbo, they seemed like the only people he could truly connect with. But then Scar came along and completely shook the foundations of his world, becoming the person he hated the most but also feeling drawn to in the same way.

As Grian was walking to school with Pearl, someone unexpectedly bumped into Grian and caused him to drop his stuff. The usually cool and reserved boy snapped immediately and yelled, "What the hell!" Looking up with anger, he saw the boy that bumped into him was the one he hated the most - Scar. Scar laughed at Grian and teased him, asking "Damn, is poor Grian having a bad day?" Grian seethed with anger and stared back at Scar, feeling all the emotions of the past surge back to the surface again.

Grian couldn't hold back his disdain towards Scar, yelling at him to shut up and walking away with Pearl by his side. Pearl was confused by this intense response and tried to get Grian to simmer down. "Grian, can't you be just a tiny bit nicer?" Pearl asked her brother."You know how much I hate him and everyone in the whole world!" Grian replied in a heated tone.

As Pearl tried to understand Grian's intense dislike towards Scar, she kept asking why and what happened to make him feel that way. However, Grian paused and fiddled with his shirt, thinking about the reason for his dislike. However, the truth was he didn't really know why, so he stuttered out an answer instead. 'Well... I don't really know...' Grian trailed off, struggling to find the words to explain why he disliked the one guy so much, despite having no real reason to. "Pearl gave Grian a light nudge, laughing as she saw that he was struggling to come up with a proper answer as to why he disliked Scar so much. "'So you're telling me you hate him for no reason whatsoever... DAMN Grian, why are you like this?' Pearl mocked him in a playful manner, making Grian crack a slight smile. 'Let's get to school, I honestly don't wanna get yelled at by Ms. Smith again for being late." Grian reluctantly agreed and they made their way to school together."

As Pearl and Grian entered the high school grounds together, they both took in the sight of the many different people around the campus. There were all kinds of kids hanging out, talking to one another and forming groups. One group of people caught their attention; a big group of roughly 12 people mixed gender, all hanging out together under a tree, just chatting and enjoying the weather. Pearl recognised a few of the individuals among the group, but she didn't know who most were at first glance. Suddenly, Pearl's attention was captured by a girl with ginger hair tied in a braid that rested on her right shoulder. Pearl waved as they made eye contact, which prompted the girl to smile and wave back. She was about the same height as Pearl, who was taller than Grian as well. When Pearl introduced her 'young and annoying little brother Grian,' it caught him off-guard and he frowned and blushed slightly. He had never been introduced that way before, though the description wasn't entirely incorrect...

Gem was getting ready to continue the conversation with Pearl when Grian walked over and abruptly took Pearl away. The two friends waved goodbye to one another as Pearl called out a quick "Okay, bye Gem!" as Grian continued to guide her away. It seemed like Pearl was interested in hanging out with Gem and working on their history project, though Grian had other ideas for his sister. He continued to drag Pearl into the school building, away from Gem and the rest of the group.
