Authors Note: Hi lovelies! I wanted to come on here and say these might be shorter chapters, I want to get chapters out of course but this year has proven to becoming busy but that doesn't mean I won't write, it just means I might be able to do shorter chapters. I hope this is okay!

The next morning came too quickly; we were at the venue as the crew began setting up. Jolly, Nick, and Noah were all excited to go to this breakfast with my ex's band. Noah lifted the hood of his sweater as he placed on some sunglasses in hopes to conceal most likely some of him from fans, not that he would deny meeting them—he was always intrigued with a mystery aspect. Jamie was already working on interviewing a band, she didn't need me today, so I was free to do whatever I pleased until I needed to film some small clips of the bands playing their shows tonight. "We are going to meet the guys of Joker King and grab a seat for breakfast, will you meet us there?" Noah asked looking at me as I sat at my laptop screen pretending to edit something.

"Oh, maybe I should stay here and do my work, you go—have fun" I smiled softly.

Seeing the sadness wash over him for a second broke my heart into pieces. "Come on, come have breakfast with me please, let me show my girlfriend off" he pouted slightly.

Damn him. Damn him for knowing how to wrap me around his finger. Closing my laptop I smiled at him. "Text me where you guys go, I will be there in a bit I just need to finish some stuff up pretty quickly, deal?" he smiled before placing a kiss on my forehead and heading off the bus saying how he would text me when they were seated.

Sighing, I ran a hand through my dark locks of hair wanting to tug them out. How could my life get this fucked up so fast? I genuinely thought I was free from Ray, and of course my feelings are still confused about him—was he a better person? Was before just me being crazy?
Deciding to get my day started, I changed into shorts since it was once more another warmer day and a short-sleeved shirt that had Bad Omens logo on it and over one breast it said 'crew' as well.
Stepping out from the curtain where I changed, I yelped seeing Nicholas there tying his hair up in his messy bun. "I thought you went with them" pretending to have been so scared, I held my hand over my heart.

He let out a chuckle before shaking his head. "Didn't know if I wanted to go" he admitted.

"Oh, why not?"

"Can you keep a secret?"

"Of course."

He looked around as if making sure no one was on the bus with us so they could overhear what he wanted to tell me. "I know the guys love them, but I don't know Joker King doesn't really scream good-vibes to me. I agreed to tour with them because the other three were so excited, but I don't know, I just don't get good vibes" he shivered at the thought of the band my ex was in.

Heart racing, my palms began to sweat knowing Nicholas had that feeling. "What makes you so sure there isn't any good vibes?" I needed to pretend to act normal or else he would suspect I knew something, and he would be right. I did know something.

He shrugged, scrunching his face unsure. "I just don't know how to explain it, I didn't want to say anything because they are all so excited—but I told them I would go to this breakfast" he sighed much like I did when Noah begged me to go.

Nodding my head, I wrung my fingers together. "Let's go together, come on" he followed me off the bus both of us sliding our own sunglasses on our faces. Some fans did recognize him and got photos, but Nicholas was so kind and caring for them, by the time we got to the breakfast place Noah had texted us I could see they were all halfway through their own meal.

His eyes looked up at me, a smile on his face—mine didn't match fully when I learnt I would be sitting across from Ray who proudly looked at me like he had control of this situation, and he did. Because I sure in hell didn't. "What took you guys so long" Nick said chewing his food as both Nicholas and I took a seat, me sitting beside him and Noah.

"Oh ugh, we met a few fans, and we got chatting" Nicholas said covering out tracks, avoiding how he also didn't want to come to this.

I had a coffee—not feeling hungry in the presence of Ray. Noah had his arm around my chair as he laughed with the Joker King's, Ray holding the strongest conversation with all of them. Glancing at Nicholas, he slid a napkin over to me where he had begun a game of hangman. Smirking, I slid a bit closer to him picking my first letter. He drew a head to the stickman which had me glancing at him, the others were so focused on their conversations they didn't even pay attention when I managed to complete the sentence Nicholas had worked hard on, nearly beating me at it too. It read 'are you bored' which I nodded before tucking away the napkin.

Finally when they were all done talking, we paid for our meals before heading outside. "Fae, I thought on our day off this week you and I could explore—of course joker king could come along, I think it would be fun" he smiled.

"Oh, yeah totally" my voice wanted to waver, but I held strong. It was only a few weeks of this, surely I could survive it.

The day went smoothly, the bands played, and Noah dragged me to watch Ray as the lead guitarist of the band he was in. He would smile over in Noah's direction, but I knew he was watching me. My expression remained flat. Jamie had a migraine, so she went to the bus to sleep early tonight, both Noah and my brother hounding me to come hangout in the venue instead of the bus. Noah looked at me as the band was finishing their set. "I forgot my mask in the green room, shit" he had warmups he had to do before the show.

Smiling softly, I looked at him. "I will go get it" he thanked me as I headed off to the green room. All the guys were with Noah as they liked trying to help as much as they could for set up, but also remaining close was easy as well for them. Grabbing Noah's mask from the table, I turned seeing Ray there covered in sweat from the heat of their show. "What do you want" I spoke holding Noah's mask tighter to me.

"You know what I want. . . Fae, I've changed—consider us please" he said softly.

"I am with Noah. If you excuse me—" going to push past him, his hand wrapped around my arm as he tugged me closer to him, "let me the fuck go" I snapped, my eyes burning with rage but most likely was tears.

He leaned into my ear, "consider us, I have something you don't want anyone to see" my stomach plummeted at that, what could he possibly have?

Yanking my arm from him, I didn't pay him any attention as I made my way back to Noah, fighting to keep my breathing as normally as I could. "Hey, thank you" he smiled leaning down giving me a kiss.

"No problem" I looked out on the stage seeing the crew setting up. I knew how to help set up the stage, being in my basement with Nick often he taught me everything there was to know. Getting signaled, the lights went down as the crowd began to cheer for the guys. "Have a kickass show" I smiled up at him.
Watching them play always felt amazing—they were amazing at what they do, despite that though all I could think about was what Ray said.
What did he have?
