Authors Note: It feels like just the other day I was thanking you all for 52k reads and now here I am thanking you all for 55k reads. Limits is still going strong despite the lack of updates; we still have a bumpy road ahead of us.

The day off came quicker than I thought. The bands were excited, buzzing even with energy to just explore and let off some steam. Jamie and Nick wanted to go on a date, and not feeling like I wanted to interrupt I decided to hold back and if I wanted to, explore on my own.
Ray had drunk his night away, along with his band so no one was shocked when they climbed out of their bus looking like hell had hit them but of course it wouldn't stop them from street crawling if it meant they could get more alcohol in their system. Ray would text me all night, to the point I turned my phone off and forgot about it until my brother mentioned he was trying to get a hold of me this morning.
It was slander he sent me of course, complaining how I basically whored myself out while we weren't even together at that point. In Ray's mind, we never broke up and everything was perfect the way it was.

Biting my nails, I edited the video for promoting the podcast as I sat at a fold up table we had for nice weather. Feeling arms around me, lips found my cheek as a slimy feeling in my stomach had me biting the inside of my cheek. "I asked you to come sleep in our bus last night" Ray said, his arms hanging around my neck.

"I went to bed early. Besides, two people don't even fit on those bunks" not a lie.

"Come on baby, stay with us. You don't need to stay with them so much" his arms tightened around my neck making my hands go to his arm, clawing at the flesh he had exposed. "You know I miss showing you a good time; besides we should start showing everyone how well behaved you are to me" the words struck hard as I glared up at him, his eyes meeting mine as he smiled, the smile that knows he is getting under my skin.

He needed to believe I cared, there were the times he got physical with me and with how he was acting told me he was still riding a high from his alcohol binge the night before as Kayden climbed off the bus, a girl not far behind him as she wore his shirt from the night before.
Ray's eyes followed mine as he lit a cigarette, puffing out a cloud of smoke in front of him. "She's pretty, too bad you weren't on the bus, I am sure we could have shared her" my stomach knotted at those words—he was always trying to bring more people into anything sex related. While that was for some people, that wasn't for me. "Why don't you come party with us baby?"

It was just barely after lunch. My drink from my takeaway sat between us. "I think today I am going to work on some stuff" not entirely a lie if it meant he would leave me be. "You go, have fun" pretend to be the perfect girl he wants, the more I obey the more he will leave me alone.

Leaning down, he kissed my cheek before tossing his now used cigarette in my drink. "You can't avoid us forever Faith, we still got a while yet on this tour" he winked before turning his attention to his friends.

After sometime, the guys finally left leaving me once more in the silence outside where we were parked for the day. Frowning at my cup that once held my drink. I tossed it in the trash before brushing off my legs. "Excuse me?" Yelping, I spun around seeing an older gentleman holding keys up, furrowing my brows I knew what keys they were. "Joker King parked in a spot that isn't for them, no one is here from the band to move the vehicle and I was told by one of the members to come to you to move it."

Hearing the bus door beside me open, Noah stepped down as he wore a white baggy shirt and shorts. He must have sensed something as he looked between us. "Oh, ugh sure—I will move it" shakily I grabbed the keys as I made my way to the van that sat, parked awkwardly.

Sitting in the driver's seat, I placed my hands on the wheel as one hand found the key ignition—hesitant to start it, my hands starting to sweat as the memory of my accident filtered through my mind.
The metal screeching, the sound of my scream before things went dark and it would repeat. "Faith?" shaking out of the nightmare, I turned to see Noah standing there concerned look on his face, "are you wanting me to move the van?" he shouldn't have to.

I needed to get over myself somehow. Starting the van, I shook my head as I pulled out of the spot and into the next, the whole time my heart slammed against my ribcage and my bile threatened to rise as I parked in the proper spot.
Feeling my breathing becoming rapid, I leaned back against the headrest letting my eyes close as nausea threatened to consume me.
Metal screeching, screaming, the pain all of it came flooding back into my mind as if I was there once more. The van door opened and there were hands on my shoulders, tears I hadn't even known I shed were wiped as I was pulled into the familiar embrace. "Shhh, Fae, it's okay" soothed Noah as he held me tightly against him, almost afraid if he let go, I would crumble.

Clinging onto his shirt, the tears flowed as my breathing still raced. "I drove" even if it was only a few feet it felt like a few lifetimes, something I doubt I would ever want to do again anytime soon.

He rubbed circles on my back as he pulled me out of the van, my knees buckling leaving us going to the ground. "You did, you could have let me do it Faith, I would have helped" he said softly rubbing my back more, "deep breaths Fae, follow my lead" looking at him, he breathed in through his nose as I tried my best to match his. After a few attempts, my heart felt like it could beat normally once more and the death grip I had on Noah was loosened enough I could rub my face. "They shouldn't have parked there to begin with" he mumbled looking at the vehicle I had just been sitting inside.

"They didn't know" but I am sure everyone on this tour knew about my accident, it was big enough to warrant news articles about me. How a famous drummer in a band's little sister was in a life-threatening accident. Of course, they would only refer to me as Nick's little sister and not the person I worked so hard to be. "Thank you, for the help" he nodded his head as he helped me back on my feet. "I thought you would have gone with the others exploring?"

He shrugged his shoulders, "I was working on some new material. How come you didn't go?"

"Bar hopping didn't really sound like fun to me, I also had some stuff to finish" he nodded his head.

"Well, why don't we go for a walk then? I kind of want to see the venue we are playing tomorrow night" he seemed uncertain if I would accept this offer.

Smiling softly, I nodded this time. "Sounds fun, let me just grab my sunglasses" when we both had what we needed we set foot on the stroll. "So, tour has been busy so far, are you enjoying it?" I asked, looking up at him as he adjusted his hat.

"I am, its fun seeing how many people have fun every night. Are you and Jamie getting good tour content for your podcast, she mentioned you guys were going to work on a piece about touring and what it was like in different areas" Jamie and I were creating a miniseries we were going to post after tour during our break.

"It's going good so far, I was editing some today. Between here and I working on this, once tour is done, I am sure we will have a few week's worth of episodes we can upload maybe twice a week" he seemed interested in that. "Noah how did you guys meet Joker King anyways?" The question tasted like acid on my tongue.

He furrowed his brows as he looked down at me. "Through a few friends, apparently, they were trying to get a hold of us for a while but since we weren't touring at the time no one really touched base. Why do you ask?"

Scratching my arm, I smiled up at him softly knowing he was just trying to figure this out. "For the podcast series, of course" it could be used in the series, but I wasn't putting a lot of effort towards Joker King in there, and I doubt Jamie was after knowing who they really were.

Noah went to go say something went a door swung open and he nearly collided with someone holding a coffee. Looking up from his phone, she smiled once she saw him. It was Quin, she had her purse over her shoulder as she wore a white crop top and blue jeans. "Oh hey!" she noticed me before clearing her throat, "hey Faith good to see you!" the smile felt forced, was she jealous of me?

"Hey Quin" Noah smiled at her, "what are you up to?" His question was so innocent, but I didn't want her to speak to him, she made me jealous, and I wasn't even sure she had a thing for him.

"Nothing bored as usual" she shrugged her shoulders.

Noah looked at me before the girl in front of us, he seemed distracted by her. "Why not join us on the walk? We are going to check out the venue for tomorrow" Quin practically squealed her reply agreeing to it as we all headed once more in the direction of the venue.
Only this time, I stayed a few feet back feeling my heart sinking in my chest as I watched her interact with him, almost like how he used to with me.
