Dom and Letty

sponge bath

Dom was brought home after 5 days in the hospital.

Brian had taken care of the garage o Dom's behalf.

Letty drove Dom back which was a first.

"you ready to go home?"

"hell yeah, home is where the heart is, 1327 is where i belong".

"you got that right">

They reached their home and Mia was standing on the porch.

"how you doing, Dom?"

"i'm fine, Mia, stop worrying"

"i do worry about you, a lot">

"yeah,well you're not the only one" Letty chimed in.

they walked into the house and straight to the dining table and there was a red velvet cake on the table.

"Mia did you...?"

"it was Letty's idea".

"I know how much you like red velvet cake and i thought you might like a slice of cake to relax and take a load off.

Dom kissed Letty on the forehead then the cheek.

"thank you baby".

"you're very welcome".

everyone had a slice of cake except Brian he had 2.

"the cake is really good, Mia".

"it's actually Letty's moms recipe, she taught me when i was in high school".

"mom, always knew how to make one mean red velvet cake".

"she made really good walnut brownies too"

"you still remember?"

"yeah, i do, it was when i took you out for Valentine's Day".

"that was the night when we...."

"ewww.. guys not at the table".

Dom laughed at Mia's response.

Letty was still dreaming about that night.

3 days had passed.

Dom was sitting on the couch watching football Letty sitting in between his legs.

"Dom i think i should apply some antiseptic on your bruises".

Dom just nodded.

Letty applied some of the antiseptic cream on a cotton bud and then slowly applied it on Dom's bruises on his legs and arms.

"they're getting better".

"my best nurse is taking care of me, that's why".

Letty kissed Dom on the lips.

Letty continued applying it on all his bruises.

"Letty, what's wrong, babe?'

"it's nothing, it's just i thought i was going to be doing this for my kids when they got hurt".

Dom reached out for Letty's hand and pulled her closer towards him. Her face on his chest.

"we can always try again Let, the decision is yours, I'm ready if you are".

"i don't think the time's right, you've just come home, maybe soon but not right now".

"i respect your decision, when you're ready we'll try again".

"thanks Dom".

Dom kissed Letty on the lips, a comforting i got your back kiss.

"you know, in the hospital they give you nice sponge baths".

"yeah, by the nurses".

"the hot nurses".

"Dominic Toretto, you better not have...."

"what do you say my hot nurse you give me a warm soapy sponge bath?"

Letty smiled at Dom's remark.

Dom lifted Letty up the stairs bridal style and into the bathroom.

"You really want a sponge bath?"

"Yes!"

"We will do it our style, just like back in the day, toretto ortiz style."

Dom bit his lower lip "I like the sound of that"

"It's about to get real soapy up in here."

"and steamy ;) "

Sorry everyone haven't updated for the last couple of days, I was busy with schoolwork!
