Chapter 2: Harshly

What happened to me 10 years ago is still fresh in my mind. After that night, I woke up feeling so dirty and disgusting, I got myself tested because I was overthinking I might catch a disease. I didn't even know who screwed me and Jacob was nowhere to be found.

He just left the country the moment I checked out of the hotel. He never contacted me from that day until now. Nakakainis siya!

"Ready?" Julian asked me after holding my hand.

"Yeah!" I answered and gave him a very sweet smile.

He's a Cabrini too, I heard that he is Jacob's long-lost brother. At para makabawi, their parents sent him here to Canada to study for five years. He is an engineer now and we are heading to the Philippines for me to meet their parents. And, he said that he has some business to do too.

I could say that Julian looks a lot like Jacob, lalo na noong kabataan nito. I can still remember the day I got a crush on Jacob because he was too gentlemanly and so soft when it came to me, but I didn't want to ruin our friendship so I kept my feelings for myself. But now, I have Julian, my darling! He is my ideal man, to be honest. I still can't believe that I got him even though there are a lot of pretty girls here.

"First time in the Philippines?" Julian asked while we were already inside the plane.

"Not really, I was born there and grew up until we moved here, I was five at that time." I leaned on his shoulder. This will be a long flight.

When we arrived at the airport after hours of flying, a warm humid air surprised me. I wasn't prepared for this kind of weather, I still had my thick clothes on. Mainit nga raw dito sa Pilipinas sabi ni Julian, but I didn't expect this kind of init. It's around October.

"Remove your jacket para hindi ka pagpawisan. Jacob will be here soon, siya ang susundo sa atin." Julian helped me remove my jacket while we were waiting for our food to arrive.

I almost gasped when I heard Jacob's name. Suddenly, I felt some butterflies in my stomach. Finally, I got to see him again after 10 years.

Staring at the food in front of me right now makes me feel so foreign in this country. I am a pure Filipino but I grew up in Canada, so I think it is just right for me to feel strange and out of place.

"Are there any problems with your food? You don't like it?" Julian reached for my hand.

I shook my head. "Nothing, they are quite delicious, actually. I like them. They make me feel the country."

I can't disappoint him. Baka sabihin niya na maarte ako. I like the food but I don't love them.

Nagbaba ako ng tingin. Sometimes, I feel restricted whenever Julian is around. He always wants me to do things that are out of my interest. He is transforming me to another person who isn't really match my personality.

"At last, welcome again to the Philippines, brother!"

My back froze when a familiar voice rang in my ears. I know that it's him...

"Thank you. Ah! Meet my girl, Nathalia Lonzaga," Julian introduced me to Jacob.

Sandali ko lang siyang tiningnan at nag-iwas kaagad ng tingin. Damn it! He looks so good wearing corporate attire. Still as handsome as before.

"Nice to meet you too, Nathalia." He offered me his hand. Ugatan iyon at pakiramdam ko ay batak na batak talaga siya sa gym.

"Yeah, nice meeting you, Jacob." Mabilis kong binawi ang kamay ko sa kanya dahil parang napapaso ako sa init no'n. We were acting like we never met each other before. Hindi ko rin naman kasi siya nakukuwento kay Julian noon, mabuti na lang din at ganyan ang akto ni Jacob.

I heard him sigh. "You have a great taste in woman, Julian. Pareho tayo." He chuckled.

Oh, I missed him so much. It's been a long time. Kahit pa nagtatampo ako sa kanya ay hindi naman nagbagong nangungulila rin ako sa presensya niya. Naiinis lang talaga ako kasi parang hindi man lang ako nag-exist sa buhay niya.

"We're brothers, it runs in the blood," Julian said and looked at me.

"Right, tomorrow morning, we will have our very first meeting together with mom and dad, and of course, Ian in the CY building. Get ready, bring your girlfriend. I'm sure she will enjoy great company," Jacob said and smirked.

"Sure," Julian agreed.

Hindi na dapat siya pumayag sa gusto ni Jacob. I can sense some danger from afar just by looking at him. It will not be good for me, I need to stay away from him.

Turns out, I was right. He didn't join the family meeting and I was inside his very spacious office. The other side of the wall is made of glass and I can see the beauty of the city from here.

"Still looking great, Nathalia." Jacob went near me and stared at my face.

"You too," I said and gave him a weak smile.

Bumuntonghininga siya at tumabi sa akin mula sa pagkakaupo ko sa sofa. Medyo naiilang ako pero hindi ako kumilos. Ayokong maramdaman niya na may epekto siya sa akin.

"You know why I left you without a word?" he asked making me look at him.

Napatulala na lang ako sa mukha niya. Alam ko naman na gwapo talaga siya at hindi na ako magugulat kung mas lalo pa siyang kumisig ngayon. To be honest, he is more handsome than Julian.

"Because I'm scared you gonna get mad at me," he said and touched my legs. I saw his eyes fixed on my boobs. Still a pervert, damn!

"Why would I? Galit pa rin naman ako sa 'yo kasi iniwan mo ako. I was--"

He cut me off. "You were very delicious that night, Nathalia. I stopped myself from taking you until dawn." He pulled me closer.

What?! It's him?!

"It was you?!" Lumayo ako sa kanya pero mahigpit niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko at bewang ko.

"I didn't forget you because in my dreams, I am still in that night, licking your body over and over again. And now that you are here, I want to experience that again. Your body is mine, Nathalia." He gave my neck wet kisses.

Mapapapikit na sana ako nang maalala kong girlfriend pala ako ng kapatid niya. Malakas ko siyang tinulak at tumayo ako.

"No one owns my body. You're a monster!" I shouted at him.

I was about to leave his office when he harshly grabbed my hair and made me face him.

"Ouch!" Masakit talaga ang pagkakasabunot niya sa akin.

"Keep resisting, Nathalia, you are turning me on so much. Enjoy being my brother's girl because later on, you are no longer interested in him." He gave me a peck on the lips and pushed towards the door.

I can't believe him.
