Avana's pov
TWO DAYS LATER
*I had been with Lee the whole day yesterday. She didn't say a word, the nurse had said Lee would feel hazy or groggy as she came round from the general anaesthetic. She woke up, looked around and slept and that went on repeat for the whole day.*
*I woke up feeling very tired, I ignored the tiredness and walked into the bathroom. I was going to spend the day with Lee.*
*I walked out with a white robe on, applied my moisturizer, face oil, curled my hair, got dressed and put on some light makeup.*
*I walked out of the elevator and went towards the voices I heard.*
"Morning darling" Mom said dropping a plate of bacon and eggs Infront of Austin and a bowl of cereal for Ava
*I don't think Austin would ever like cereal*
"I didn't expect you to get up early....and you look really tired." mom said walking towards me
"I- well, yes I'm tired but I'm want to go check on Lee" I said letting out a very long yawn
"Ok. But you have to eat a good meal first." Mom said motioning me to sit
"They have a vending machine in the hospital, I can ge-" Mom cut me off
"No. you're eating real food.... Alfanzo is preparing a good meal." Mom said taking a sip of her coffee
*I walked towards the dinning table and sat next to the twins*
"We're going on an escortion to the Museum today" Ava said with a full mouth of milk and cereal
"Chew before you talk dear"Mom said staring at her phone
"Yes everyone in school is going" Austin added
"Really!. that's cool, make sure you have fun" I said trying not to yawn again
"No. my teacher said we have to pay attention" Austin said shoving a spoon of eggs into his mouth
"Humhum" Ava hummed and nodded her head vigorously, agreeing with what Austin said
"Ok then, pay attention and have fun" I said letting out a loud yawn
"Are you sure you're strong enough to go out?" Mom asked
"Yes...when I finished eating i should feel better." I said pointing at Alfanzo who was pushing a tray of food towards the table

*I ate a lot and was in a food coma when my phone rang*
"Lucas" I read the callers name out
(Hey Avana what's up!.) Lucas spoke
(Hi Lucas) I replied
(Are you going to check on Lee today?)Lucas asked
(Yes I am, I'm going there in a minute) I answered
(I'm going there right now, want me to pick you up?) Lucas asked
(Yes. Thank you) I said
(Okay, I'll be there in Ten) Lucas said
(ok, please drive safe...bye)I replied
(Yes MOM I would...bye) Lucas giggled

*I walked out of the house when I heard Candy by Doja Cat (Sped up version) blasting from Lucas car*
"Sugar-coated lie unfolded, you still lick the wrapperrrr!" Lucas yelled the song lyrics
"It's addicting you know this but you still lick the wrapperrrr!" The boy that sat next to Lucas to the school's Camping trip yelled after (Jake)
"hahaha" I laughed and got into the backseat
"Okay, someone's in a good mood" I giggled
"Yes I am, my best friend is alive and someone finally asked me to be his boyfriend." Lucas squealed
