"Ilang araw ulit tayo dito?" Elle asked while I was hugging her.

"Three? I don't know." I shrugged as she frowned at me.

"Seryoso ka?" Tanong niya at tumango naman ako.

"Hindi ko alam kung ilang araw ang binook ni Triveon." I said as she nodded.

I know that fucker talked to Freya about the division of rooms. I mean, I ain't complaining but she should've at least made up a nice reason. She's allergic to lavenders? The fuck is up with that reasoning?

"Hi po! Kumusta po kayo?" Freya brightly said while handing us our hard hats as I sighed.

She looked at me and wiggled her eyebrows as I rolled my eyes.

"We're good, Freya." Kako at ngumiti naman siya.

"I'm fucking not." Aydien muttered but loud enough for me to hear.

I wrapped my arms around her waist possessively when men started to look in her direction.

"Uh, Engineer Rodriguez may ano po kayo sa leeg niyo. Na ano po kayo?" Freya said as I squeezed my eyes shut. It's a good thing Triveon isn't fucking here, or else he'll tease me until I tell him something offensive.

"Uh, I burnt myself with a curler." She awkwardly said as I frowned.

"Si Engineer Zevilye po ba humawak nung curler niyo?" Tanong ni Freya kaya napaubo si Elle.

"Huh?" Tanong niya at tumawa naman si Freya saka ako tinignan.

"Wala na pong made deduct sa sweldo ko ha?" She smiled as I rolled my eyes and nodded.

She walked away from us and Aydien looked at me frowning.

"Sinasabi niya?" She asked as I shrugged.

"Wala lang iyon. Don't mind her." Kako kaya pinaningkitan niya ako ng mata.

"Seryoso. Ano iyon?" She asked as I sighed.

"It's something about having you, or something like that." Kako at lumaki ang mata niya.

"Bakit?" Tanong niya.

"It's embarrassing to tell so I won't tell you." Kako kaya kumunot ang noo niya.

"Jaze." She raised a brow as I scratched my nape.

"I, uh, made a bet with her." I uttered as she raised a brow.

"About what?" She asked as I sighed and told her everything.

When I was finished she bursted out laughing and I couldn't help but to be fascinated by her laugh. The way her eyes fades, her dimples showing, everything about her laugh is so admirable.

Her laugh is so contagious that I can't help but to smile too.

"I love you." I breathlessly uttered as she smiled and tiptoed to kiss my cheeks.

"I love you more." She whispered to my ears before giggling and started to roam the site.

"So, you got back together?" Mommy excitedly asked as I nodded hesitantly.

"Yeah?" Patanong na sagot ko kaya tinignan niya ako nang masama.

"Hindi ako nakikipagbiruan sa'yo, Liam. Kayo na ba ulit ni Aydien o hindi?" She raised a brow as I sighed.

"We're back together, Mom." I sighed as she clapped her hands.

"Good! Where is she?" She asked while roaming her eyes around my office.

"She's in her office, working." I pointed to the office beside me as she frowned.

"You should just let her work inside your office." She shrugged as I rolled my eyes.

"Employees will think I'm playing favoritism." I sighed as she raised a brow.

"Isn't she your favorite though?" She asked as I sighed for the nth time.

"Mom." I groaned as she laughed.

"Isn't it?" She wiggled her brows as I looked at her.

"She is my favorite but somehow, she will also not like the idea since employees will throw words at her again." I said as she nodded.

"Only the employees that has a crush on you will do that, and they're a lot. It's your father's fault for giving you that face." She shrugged as Dad looked at her in confusion.

"I don't actually know if I should be offended or be happy because I know she means you're handsome." He pointed Mom as I laughed.

"Anyway, we'll be going. I'm going to visit Aydien at her office and we'll go back to the house." She said as I frowned.

"Which house?" I asked.

"The one in Taguig." Dad answered as I nodded.

"I'll come visit when I have time." I said as Mommy nodded.

"Make sure to bring Aydien and my grandchildren okay?" She asked as I frowned.

"Mom, what?" I asked, absolutely stunned. "You don't have a grandchild yet." I said as she shrugged.

"It's not impossible and besides, we're not getting any younger and so are you. Make many babies so you'll have many successors." She said as I sighed.

"Don't overwhelm Elle too much, please?" I asked as she grinned and ruffled my hair.

"I won't, baby." She said before walking out of my office.

"I'll make sure to stop her if ever she'll go overboard." Dad assured me as I smiled.

"Thanks, Dad." I thanked as he grinned.

"Anytime, buddy." He said and followed my Mom.

"Love, come on. Don't you want to come to my condo yet?" I asked again as she smiled and pinched my cheeks.

"Cutie, I'll just need to fix my condo before leaving it." She said as I pouted.

"I have a surprise for you though." I muttered under my breath as she tilted her head.

"What was that?" She asked as I shaked my head.

"Nothing. So, have you checked that land in Makati I was telling you about?" I asked as she nodded.

"Yeah, it was pretty spacious." She said as I smiled.

"A client wants that space but the client can't decide what to do with his house or what design he should go with. He asked me to just decide and I showed him some common designs of our architects but he doesn't want them. I also don't know what to do with it so......" I trailed as she raised a brow.

"Which means?" She asked as I laughed awkwardly.

"Can you instruct the design? The architect will come to your office next week." I said as she laughed and nodded.

"I'll gladly do so." She said as I nodded.

"What does he want exactly?" She asked.

"Well, he said that his soon-to-be wife should like it." I shrugged as she squinted her eyes at me.

"And what does his soon-to-be wife want?" She asked.

"His soon-to-be wife wants a big room that will serve as the library, a wide garden that she can grow flowers in that will serve as their future kids' playground. Those were the specific details and the house should be big enough for at least six people." I explained as she nodded.

"Iyon lang?" Tanong niya at tumango naman ako.

"Yeah, aside from that you can design whatever you want and you should hire the interior and exterior designer. Yung architect lang ang ibibigay ko. You take care of the rest." I winked as she frowned.

"Hays, okay." She rolled her eyes as I chuckled.

"I'm leaving you to it, okay?" I asked as she nodded.

"I'm trusting you, Elle." I'm trusting you to build our future home.
