Gracie and I were at my lake house this weekend. Gracie and I have been friends for a long time, but I want to be more than friends. we finally got out of the car and I woke Gracie up even though her hair was crazy and her eyes were red she looked so pretty. I couldn't help but stare. we grabbed all of our things and headed inside where we were greeted by my family saying everyone was gonna go swimming. Gracie and I headed to our room to change while we were in there I turned to her and said

"I have been wanting to get this off my chest for a while now but I like you."

" y/n I have liked you since the day we first met i was just always too scared to say anything."

we kissed for a bit before heading out to the lake my dad was grilling my mom was talking to Gracie's parents and all the kids were swimming. we got in the water and Gracie and I swam off to this secret cove we talked for a bit before heading back and dinner was ready after dinner everyone was tired but I wanted to go out on the boat because the sun was setting and it was super pretty so I asked Gracie and she said yes

Gracie's pov

today has been great y/n finally admitted her feelings and we had our first kiss she wanted to go out on the boat and I was the only one who agreed so we both grabbed some blankets before heading out to the boat y/n drove us to this beautiful spot to watch the sunset before she anchored the boat and we sat and watched the sunset after the sun set she turned the lights on and we sat there talking but I spaced out looking into her eyes

"what" she said "Do I have something on my face."

I started to blush and shook my head we both started to lean in and I felt sparks fly when our lips met she is the person I wanna spend forever with
