Phoebe Bridgers - strange way to meet

y/ns pov 

i had been staying at a hotel with my family and i was going to the elevator to head to the lobby when i got in the elevator i noticed a blonde girl around my age i said a quick hi to her and we began  to go down when all of the sudden it stopped we tried to press the open door button but we were trapped. we had no cell service so we hit the call button and hopped some one would come and help us.

we sat on the floor and she said 

"uh oh hopefully my band isn't mad I'm late."

" that's cool that you a have a band I'm just hoping my mom doesn't freak."

" ya ."

we struck up a conversation about music and dogs when we heard a voice yell out asking if we were ok we said yes and they said it would be an hour before we got out.

phoebes pov

i have been trapped in this elevator with a girl  she is extremely funny and pretty and she has no idea who i am. i asked her what she was doing in la and she said she's here on vacation and i told her I'm here for tour.

all the sudden the elevator starts to be pulled upward when the door finally opens and i give her a hug. we both head our separate ways i call Julien and Lucy to tell them what happed and they understood and said everyone's waiting so i get in a cab before heading to sound check while I'm in the cab i realize i never got the girls name or number so i hope i see her around again

when i get to soundcheck i tell Lucy  and Julien about the girl there very excited till i tell them i never got her name our number.

y/ns pov

after leaving the elevator i tell my mom about what happened and we decide to go out and get lunch while we are at lunch i see three girls walk in the restraunt they sit down across from us and i realize its the same girl from the elevator she gets up and heads to the bathroom and i follow her in there i see her fixing her hair in the mirror i say 

" hi stranger hopefully  we don't get stuck in here together too."

 she laughs and turns to face me before saying 

" i realized i never got your name or number."

" my name is y/n and you'll have to give me something if you want something from me."

she begins to  lean in and we kiss it felt amazing i give her my number and we both exit the bathroom m but before she walks away i say 

" text me."
