Freddie was watching Alice as she worked, humming softly to what was playing in her headphones, she was working a painting, she wanted it to be perfect, she wanted every bit of it to be perfect, especially since it meant so much to her, even if it was a sundrop flower from a disney movie

He noticed how Alice held herself, the way she sat, the way her hand moved with each brush strokes, the way she would show him how the painting was going and the look of admiration in her eyes, everytime she turned back to the painting he would smile softly, but also had a hint of sadness

Alice was so much more different than when he first met her a few months back, she sat more straight, her laugh became more of a gasping for air thing, she would sit on the ground more often when she got excited about things cause she would always stand up too quickly when she randomly remembered something she knew because it caused her to get light headed

She had a look of sadness in her eyes even when she did smile or laugh Freddie saw it, he felt it, and he hated it because she never talked to him about it, whenever he would asked her about what she was thinking she would changed the subject to talk about a movie or show she was watching

Anytime Alice would have a nightmare Freddie would sit beside her and hold her hand while whispering about how nothing is here to hurt her and she was safe, but he always noticed the scars on her arms, they weren't self inflicted scars, something looked like electric shock scars, and the ones that looked like cuts were too precise to be self inflicted, he knew that because he always payed attention when Alice would cut something with scissors or a knife when cooking, or even drawing and she never took it slowly, she always kind of rushed it, except for cutting food, she always made sure to be careful so she didn't hurt herself

Sometimes when he was up doing things while Alice was asleep at night he'd make sure all the stuff she had used were put back in the place she knew where they were so she wouldn't stress out when she couldn't find it, Freddie knew she always get frustrated when stuff like that happened, he didn't mind making sure everything was in place either, he never felt like a parent caring for their toddler, he just felt like an older brother helping out his sister

Alice never really liked dresses, she only wore them when she was forced to, like school dances because of dress code policies, whenever Tony had parties her dad would help her with outfits, Freddie noticed that whenever he offered to help her with an outfit when they would go to any events her eyes would light up some and it always made him smiled

Sometimes when Alice eats she'll only take small proportions, and some days she'll take a full plate, when she'd wake up she'd always make tea besides coffee, she never liked coffee, she said that no matter how much sugar and coffee she had it always tasted too bitter

Whenever she would get excited she'd speak in a random accent, when she would start talking about something that has to deal with topics she likes she would speak in a southern accent, she would say "That's lovely" in an irish accent when something happens that frustrates her, like if she breaks something, and everytime Freddie would look at her with a look that said "Where did that accent even come from" then just wave it off when he got used to it

Sometimes when Alice would get passionate about things she'd use gesticulations in her sentences, and she'd always start speaking in a russian accent when talking about how she hated the American government since it's a piece of shit who only care about straight white republican men, or about how it's brainwashing people into believing everything the government tells that

Everytime Freddie would talk about Alice he'd have so much love in his eyes, he always mentioned how when he was doing things, even styling his hair for a party or just picking an outfit she would look at him with so much love and admiration in her eyes, she'd look at even through the mirror when she helps with his hair, smiling softly as her eyes were lit with so much love for him, she'd sit still, talking about a dream she had, or a movie she watched or book she read, and with each piece of hair he picked up to curl or braid she would look so calm

When he would help her tie the corset she would pair with her dresses, it's the only way she would wear a dress, if she had fishnet leggings or leggings in general she'd wear a dress is she didn't she wouldn't wear it since she didn't like how the fabric felt against her skin, so when Freddie would tie the corset she stand there patiently, when she saw how he would tie the bow so beautifully she would admire it every time she saw it

That's what Alice was like, she was funny, loving, smart, beautiful and perfect in Freddie's eyes, and he never wanted to lose her, he couldn't lose her, he wouldn't lose her, he made sure of that, because no matter what his moral code was, he would kill for her, he would die for her
