Damien was studying for his finals, his fingers never leaving the laptop keyboard as he was in his own world, his eyes gliding through the info fast and quickly, him talking quick sips of his black coffee when he got tired of typing.

" heyo damien, you ok? " Wayne said as he sat with Damien, taking a break on his shift, rubbing sweat of his forehead as he got his cap on.

" Yeah- just need to study. Becoming a Chemist doesn't come by lacking. " Damien said.

" you seem to be good at your stuff, keep up the good work! " Wayne smiles and side hugs him.

" Thanks Wayne. " Damien blushes and smiles side hugging him back before he pulled back and Wayne went to put barista apron back on and make orders and also put his cap on Damien.

Damien smiled and blushed more

" seems like a wonderful boyfriend for you doesn't he? "

the same voice that haunted Damien during his time on total drama, came back, creeping in his ears. But he wasn't spooked, it was actually more calming.

" Wait- Scary girl?! " Damien said as he looked behind but there was no one.

" I'm front of you silly! " They said as Damien jolted to see them opposite him on a chair.

" GAH! "

" Oh my god! It's been so long, how are you? " Damien said as he hugged them, a bit scared that they'll bite him or something.

" Good! I've learned that being scary isn't nice for anyone. I'm like people call me a nice young witch with all the crystals and medicines. " they said, wearing a black corset, and purple flowy gown with white stars on it, with big black boots, their hair cut off by the shoulders and put down.

" I love this new look on you. I thought you were gonna eat me for a second. " Damien chuckled, wearing a muted green sweater and blue jeans, he sat down

" Oh I'm way past that. Tell me, what's on with you, and the himbo? " they smiled.

" Um- that- I may have a crush on him or something. " Damien became flustered.

" yeah- your aura is very very strong and pink around him. " they said.

" but anyways how are you doing? " they said again.

" I'm in the top university in the country, I've got good marks, I have finals coming up, and um- nothing else. " Damien said as he sat back.

" that's great! " they smiled.

" You wanna me to call you Lauren now or?- "

" Nah, I prefer being called scary girl, or now, scary from friends, like you! " They said.

" Great! Because I wasn't ready to call you Lauren! " Damien sighed.

" But why just scary? " Damien said.

" Oh! I'm non-binary. " Scary said.

" That's cool! I'm trans. " Damien said.

" That's amazing! " Scary smiled.

" Hey you need another round of- " Wayne came back before realising scary.

" SCARY GIRL? " Wayne said shocked as he looked to the person opposite Damien.
