I grab Leon's hand, dragging him out of the west office and down the thankfully empty corridors until we readh the dim parking garage underneath the RPD. I ignore his protests of needing to get back to work as I grab the car keys from my uniform pocket, pressing the button until I hear the beep, and in the middle of the garage a set of lights blink.
"Y/N, I've got a million reports to finish up before-" Leon begins, but I tug him to me and loop my arms around his neck, reaching onto my toes as I kiss lips soft lips.
"It's okay, nobody will notice that I've stolen you for a minute." I casually murmur. In reality, the other officers probably will notice his disappearance, but I've never told on them when I've seen them sneak out to grab doughnuts from across the street, so hopefully they'll give us the same courtesy.
Leon smiles, letting out a defeated but happy breath as his arm wraps around my back, pressing me against him as this time his lips take charge. We end up getting into the cop car to avoid being seen straight away, with me sitting in the passenger seat and Leon taking the drivers side. Our hearts race with anticipation, we've been keeping our relationship a secret, but it's getting harder and harder to stay away from each other and pretend we're nothing more then work friends.
The air crackles with tension as we look at each other, both wearing dumb love struck smiles as the weight of our feelings hangs between us. Leon's hand moves first, intertwining with mine as his thumb brushes the top of my hand.
"You're so beautiful, I don't think I'll ever be able to say it enough." Leon softly murmurs, eyes studying my face as if I'm a work of art. I smile, feeling a small blush cover my cheeks as I avert my eyes, but they always find his magnetic blue ones again.
"You always say the right things," I reply, "and I love you for it." His lips tilt up even more as he leans closer to me, our breaths mixing as we enjoy the closeness.
"I love you too. I've missed you all day, do you know how hard it is to work knowing you're only upstairs?" He shakes his head ruefully, and my heart absolutely melts at how adorably handsome he is. The tension between us builds and builds until both of us can't take the anticipation anymore.
Without another word our lips meet with a sudden desire, a fiery kiss that warms me from my head to my toes. The kiss is slow but deep, conveying our love and yearning for one another. It soon grows heated when I lean closer to him, half out of my seat as I cup a hand around the back of Leon's neck, urging him to come closer. It's like we can't get get close enough, we're always grabbing and pulling at each other, needing to be skin to skin.
Our chests press together in a heated embrace as Leon snakes an arm around my back, the world around us melting away as we blend together. The car isn't big enough for us to move much, but it's the only safe space we can get right now until the end of our shift, which is too far away. At least then I can have him all to myself in my bed.
Our hands begin to roam each other, exploring every inch as fingers pull at clothes and his lips move from mine to my jaw, peppering pecks as I close my eyes, reveling in the feeling of being loved by him. "Leon-" I moan out, mouth lifting as he hums against my skin, none of us caring about the world outside of this. We're being desperate now, and careless.
When Leon's mouth latches onto my neck, I'm done for. It's a brief moment of pain, followed by the tenderness of his tongue, leaving a mark of our connection. It's not fair, so I push him back, leaning over as far as I can as I reverse the role, already latching my mouth at that spot under his ear. Leon groans, fisting my uniform as I smile into the lingering kiss.
This is our love; a fair war where we both battle to give out care and protection, both of us always trying just as hard as the other, an equal amount of admiration. We're utterly unbreakable, and will forever share this passion.
When we finally pull away from each other our clothes are wrinkled and Leon's cheeks are flushed, we don't even think of our new marks and how the other cops will question them. We're too caught up in us. I'm breathless, unable to stop smiling as Leon's eyes blink repeatedly.
"That was...a rush." He chuckles. I laugh too, both of us finding peace together now that the burning desire has been temporarily tamed. His fingers reach out and brush a stray strand of hair away from my face as his eyes watch me with love.
We sit together, quietly talking for a while about our day and plans for later, between more kisses and tear filled laughs, until we realise how much time has passed. Just as we both get out to leave the car the door to the parking garage opens, revealing the amused figure of our lieutenant Marvin Branaugh.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Marvin's voice rang out, breaking the stillness of the night. "Looks like I caught you two lovebirds in the act.
Leon and I exchanged a sheepish glance, our cheeks flushing with embarrassment. It seemed that our secret break hasn't gone unnoticed after all.
Clearing his throat, Marvin steps forward, a mischievous look in his eye. "You two better get back to work before I have to write you up for misconduct," he teases, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips.
With a nervous laugh, Leon and I quickly straighten our clothes and get out of the car, with me locking it afterwards and passing the key to the lieutenant. Our hearts pound as we make our way out of the garage, unable to hold back our nervous but amused smiles.
"Think he'll tell everyone?" Leon asks.
I shrug, but link my fingers with his. "Why does it matter? Let's not hide this anymore, who cares if they find out?"
Leon looks unsure for a split second, but then stands straighter, looking proud and ready to show us off. "You're right, I don't think the guys will care anyway."
Little did we both guess that pretty much the whole station guessed we were dating, and were waiting for us to reveal our relationship in our own time.
