9. Family & Maahi

Chachisa was the first one to hold Maahi and she immediately showered her with love and kisses after sanitizing herself properly.
"She's so cute, bilkul apni ma pe gai hai. Sorry mummy-sa par Sharma genes are gene-ing. Awlee dekho has rahi hai. Haan Mera beta ham samajh gaye,aap apni meenu dadi ke team mein hi rahogi ab. Hai naah" Manisha chachi-the biggest AbhiMaan shipper cooed while the baby gave a sweet lil smile to make the entire family turn towards her with awe. Dadisa,Kajal,Vidya did a thu-thu-thu gesture while Madhav was busy capturing his daughter's reactions, after he had captured Maahi's while Abhira was getting ready. He loved her so so much-Abhira filled the void of a daughter in his life and he did so of a father in hers. And today dressed in a purple salwar kameez,twinning with Maahi-she was glowing and he was busy adoring her.

"Nahi meenu,mujhe lagta hai she has definitely inherited one thing from Armaan!"

"Kya mannu?"

"Bhaww khake smile karna. Ab dekho wapas apne papa jaise muh bana lia isne. Abhira ki Junior Khadusmaan!" The entire room shook with the laughter of their cute,mad & not-so-bad family.

"Haww Chachisa,aap sirf gudiya se milengi, mujhse nahi?Tadap tadap ke is dil se-"

"Are bas bas beta,mai aa tohh rahi thi tumse milne,aakhir you're my bestie nah . Pura gaana gaane ki koi zarurat nahi hai.

Ye evil eye bracelet mai tumhare aur baby ke liye laai hoon. Itne pyaare lagoge nah toh tumhe table ki nazar bhi lag sakti hai!
Waiseh Abhira mai tumhare liye kuch aur bhi laai hoon. Don't show it to Armaan haan,warna gyaan dena shuru kardega. Tumhari favourite bakery ka apple pie hai. Don't worry,5 hours hi huye hain kharab nahin hua hai abhi"

Manisha chachi carefully handed the baby to Manoj and walked to Abhira,hugged her and handed over the bag to her while Abhira thanked her and winked at her.
Rohit hurriedly entered the room and Roohi came rushing behind and they both said in unison-"Baby kahan hai?"

"Mere paas hai and Mai abhi nahi dungi tumhe. Use apni bua-dadi ke saath achcha lag raha hai" Kajal said firmly while the baby shouted in her meek voice,as if saying a firm YES. While Rohit made a puppy face, Aryan & Kiara put a fake spider on his shoulder and he screamed like a little child, making everyone burst into laughter.

"Looks like princess has some competition. Tere chachu bilkul tere hi pitch mein cheekhte hain",Charu sarcastically said, making everyone laugh even harder.

"Mere cutie pie Rohit ki koi mazak nahi banayga. Rohit idhar aa ja betaaa",Abhira said in a dramatic tone while Rohit grabbed Roohi's hand and they both engulfed Abhira into a hug.

"Thankyou bhabhi itni pyaari fairy ke liye. Ye gift aapke liye. Aur Haan ab I'm going to hold her. Maine 2 maheene practice ki hai funny faces banane ki!"

"Rohit wo sab seekhne ki kya zarurat thi? Isn't your face enough for it?"

"Bhabhi yaar"

"Acha Jaa jaa"

"Abhira tumhe patah hai jab tum paida hone vali thi nah,tab billa boy ko maine yahi poocha tha ki tu mujhe apni lil sister ke saath khelne dega ki nahi. Aaj mai tumse pooch rahi hoon, mai baby ko godh mein lelu?" Roohi asked with skepticism, as even after it having been 3 years since Abhira forgave her,she was still guilt-ridden for some obvious reasons.

"Uski cool maasi use poore haq se utha sakti hain. Bhaago Roohi di bhaago" Abhira said passing a smile of assurance to Roohi who picked the baby up from Rohit's arms and adored her with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Maasa pe gai hai iski nose & smile. How I wish he,maasi and matashree were here to see her. 'Ouija' zaroor kehte Maasa after looking at this shweet shweet gulu mulu baby resembling him. Matashree Maasi ko chidhati ki- 'Akshuu,so sad nah. Baby toh tujhpe gayi hi nahin. Yeh toh the sassy queen Dr Aarohi ke jaisi hain'. Phir maasi matashree ko maarne daudti aur kehti-'Aaruu, apni didi ki izzat kamse kam uski natin ke saamne toh karti!
(Roohi takes a pause to wipe her tears,hand the baby to Charu and then hug Abhira to calm the whirlwind of emotions inside her as well)

Waiseh Abhira Kairav Mamu,Bumi & Abhir are returning. After so many years! For her. Billa boy ka video call aaya tha. He wanted to surprise you but usne mujhe bohoth rulaya, so ab wo royga as I ruined his surprise with a termament marker"Roohi joked while Abhira hi-fied her & said-"Termament nahi Permanent"
"Wahi wahi matashree part 2"

The baby, now in Charu's arms stared at the cousin gang dressed up in their circus costumes. Charu passed the baby to each of the cousins & then at last to Krish.
"Babygirl, your krish chachu just finished composing his 25th song. And ye aapke liye hai. I always knew it would be a little princess so I had already penned down the lyrics & finished the beats & tune editing work. Now it would be released on your six month birthday. Tab tak ke liye aapko kaan mein ek paragraph kaan mein sunaunga. Chachu bhatiji secret"

As approximately an hour had passed since the family members were busy with the baby,Dadisa spoke up.
"Bas! Aree bachchi hai, passing the parcel kyo khel rahe ho sab uske saath. Ab wo thak gayi gai aur use apni maa ki zarurat hai. Tum sab jao aur aram karo. Abhira use feed Kara degi. Bachchi hamein do"
As all of them put their finger on their lips & moved out of the hospital room with Armaan & Vidya escorting them to their villa, Dadisa handed over the baby to Abhira who was already laughing at the way Dadisa scolded them.
"Dad dekha aapne, Dadisa ke khauf ne sabko all out kardia!"
"Waiseh Maa-sa, apne itna cool-ly jhooth kaiseh kaha? Maahi ko ab hi toh feed karaya tha Abhira ne sabke aane se pehle. I even noted the timings in the diary and as per that 2-3 days schedule abhi approximately 25 minutes hain next feed karane mein!"

"Madhav ham jante hain, tumhari beti apni beti ko bina godh mein liye chain se nahi baith sakti. Isliye kuch tohh Kehna tha nah. Waise manna padega, IPS Madhav Poddar ek bohot responsible dadu ban gaye hain"

"Dadisa,Sachi mein. Dad toh baby ke poop colour and kitni toilet hui wo bhi record mein rakhte hain"

"Tohh kyo nah rakhu? Badi hogi toh dikhaunga nah use. Ki dekh tujse sabse zyada pyaar tere two in one Dadu-nanu hi karte hain"

"Bachchi ko behekana chah rahe ho tum Madhav?"

"Ji bilkul Maa-sa"
