50: Patience

( Still in Third Person POV! )

Izumi caved in and eventually had to look away from the blond's intense Ruby red gaze and try to think of what he could do. 

"Ah– R-Right, t-there's a cool cream on that shelf over there that needs to be put on my ankle first." Izumi started, leading Katsuki to look over at his daughter. 

"Sophie." 

"Ah– Mn." 

Sophie then walked over to one of the shelves and made sure to look at Izumi to make sure she was grabbing the right thing. 

"T-This?" 

"Yes, and there's some bandages that I will need too, which are on the end of that shelf." Sophie listened to the nurse and grabbed what she needed and then walked back to hand them to her father for him to take care of the rest. 

In silence, Katsuki carefully applied the cream to the greenette's ankle and then started wrapping the bandage around her ankle.

In the process, Izumi ended up trying to tell the Number 1 hero how to wrap it and in which direction to wrap it as it really had been a while since he'd last done something like this. 

He thought he knew what he was doing, but after hearing her calm voice instructing him, he got used to the feeling again, and Sophie noticed this. 

Not only did Sophie notice her dad's actions and how careful he was by doing this, but she also noticed something on her father's face that she thought she was seeing. 

'Wait– Is dad... smiling?' she thought as there was surely a faint smile on his lips and how his eyes had softened while doing all of this. 

It was like he was being taken back to all those years ago when his late wife would have to fix his wounds when he was hurt and how much she would tell him he needed to be careful. All of this reminiscing was pleasant for him for once, and he couldn't help but smile because of it.

"There. All done." Katsuki finished as he made sure to tie the end and make sure it wasn't too tight for the greenette. 

"Thank you, Mr. Dynamite, I didn't know you were such a fast learner." Izumi noted. 

"I've done this before." 

"I see." 

"Miss Doriyaku... U-Um..." 

Both Katsuki and the nurse looked over to see Sophie standing there and holding the nurse's shoes that she wore before she fell down the stairs. 

"Oh, my shoes." 

"I grabbed them because I wasn't sure if you still wanted them or not." 

"Why thank you, Sophie." 

"Um... A-And..." 

"What is it?" 

Sophie's cheeks ended up turning a slight shade of pink as she felt a little embarrassed to say this. 

"M-Miss Doriyaku... I-I think after you fell down the stairs, your skirt got a little ripped too." she pointed out. 

Because of that statement, both Izumi and Katsuki looked down to see that Izumi's pencil skirt ripped on the side and revealed more of her thigh that caused Katsuki to blush a bright red. 

"Oh dear, not really what I was planning on happening to me today. I'll just have to wear my coat around my waist for the day, and I guess I'll have to glue the heel back since I don't have any other–"
