"Hahaha~ It's so good to see you and know that you're doing well, Emra."

I stopped myself, what did I just hear? Emra? As in my Aunt Emra?

"Yes, it's good to see you as well, Izumi." Instantly, I recognized the voice that was talking to Miss Doriyaku.

It was Aunt Emra.

I quickly pushed myself up against the wall and hoped they didn't hear me as I decided to quietly listen to what they would be talking about.

"How are your kids doing? I haven't seen them since I came back to Japan."

"Erica is all grown up and just turned 20 recently. And the twins are in their third year of high school." Aunt Emra answered.

"I see~ And how is Takashi? I haven't been able to visit him at the hospital because I've been so busy."

Uncle Takashi too?

"He's the same as usual, always working. Ah– I forgot to mention that shortly after I returned to Japan with you that I opened a flower shop not too far from here."

"Really? Perhaps I should visit your shop and help out a bit. You know my quirk is good at that stuff." Miss Doriyaku giggled.

"Izumi~ You still need to be careful with your quirk. You still remember the first time you used your quirk, don't you?"

"Erm– Y-Yes, I caused an earthquake." I froze. I was literally just told by my aunt that my mom caused an earthquake the first time she used her quirk.

There's no way.

"Right, and though since the accident, you've managed to control your quirk better and create flowers, that doesn't mean you should be carefree about it."

"Mn. I've always kept that in mind."

"So, how has your Amnesia been?"

Oh yeah, Miss Doriyaku told me last week that she got Amnesia because she got in an accident, right?

"It's fairing well. I still can't really remember the most recent people from the time the accident took place though."

"And if anybody has asked, have you told people that you went to school in America when you really went to U.A.?"

Ah– No way, Miss Doriyaku–

"Yes, I've made sure to say that whenever asked. But Emra, I feel like I'm fooling a lot of people. I feel like I'm lying to people when I can't even remember who they were from my past."

"I know, but with Amnesia, a lot of bad things can happen. Relapses can happen and it can be painful to remember what you've lost."

"I know that too, but... Emra... can't you at least tell me who I was married to?"

I felt my body go numb. Miss Doriyaku... was married?

"I'm sorry, Izumi, but I can't. The person you were married to isn't the same person that he is now. He's changed and... you would be disappointed seeing him with how he's become." Aunt Emra stated.

'She would be disappointed in seeing him and what he's become?'

That sounds like... like my dad!

"As much as I could tell you, you would only feel guilty and disappointed with how things have turned out in the time that you've been gone from Japan. For now, I need to get going, as I have things to do." Aunt Emra stated as I heard her stand up from her chair.
