172: Reconcile

Trying to find where the drinks were located, Katsuki could feel steam coming out of his ears as he felt so embarrassed by what he just did. 

'The hell is wrong with me? She asked me a simple question and yet I'm thinking the opposite like I'm some kinda... beast. And we're in public. Hah~ I'm a 40 year old man, but right now I'm not acting like it. I feel so stupid for doing that. No. It's fine, I'm just gonna hurry and get her a drink since she's alone and–' 

As he thought of that very specific word, Katsuki instantly thought back to what happened at a certain banquet a long time ago in which this same greenette appeared. 

That same very banquet was where he confessed his feelings to her, and how she was almost speechless to his words for him just to leave her there, but then ran into her again, only for her to leave as he had run into her ex–Reed–who suggested she go back to the banquet. Not only was this the very night Izuku got kidnapped by her previous ex–Shindo–but even the events of tonight were reflecting in some way. 

'Wait– Banquet... Red dress... leaving her alone– SHIT!' he screamed in his head, not even thinking about finding a drink anymore as he ran back to where he left the greenette.

'I'm so stupid, I let this happen again, which means it could all happen again and I'm the one to blame for it!' he thought as he approached the doors leading to the outside to see that Izumi was still there. 

Just from seeing her red dress, Katsuki let out a sigh of relief, as that meant that she was safe. But just when he thought that, he noticed she looked like she was paying attention to something... or someone. 

'Huh? What is she looking–' 

As he peeked his head out of the doorway, Katsuki's eyes almost widened when he recognized Camie approaching the greenette. In seconds, he swung himself back inside and pressed his head up against the wall in a hurry. 

'Wha– What the hell? What's Camie doing here?'

"It seems I ran into you again, Miss Utsushimi." 

"Huh?" 

Katsuki could hear how calm the greenette sounded, and that only made him concerned as to what could happen if he wasn't here. So, he carefully peeked his head out again just enough to see what was going on, but also to make sure the two ladies wouldn't see him. 

When looking at the two ladies, Katsuki noticed a few things at first glance. 

1; The distance there was between the two ladies as the distance was further than he would've expected. 

2; Camie appeared to be wearing a non-formal attire as she wore nothing but black as even a mask was covering the bottom half of her face. 

3; How brave Izumi appeared standing before the dirty blonde, as she didn't seem afraid of anything this woman would try to pull this time. 

The most concerning point was number 2, as Camie's all black attire–including the face mask–was something suspicious to Katsuki. Because not only does this seem shady for her to be wearing of all people, but the fact that thinking back to over 15 years ago when Shindo kidnapped Izuku, he was wearing somewhat the same attire as she was this very second.

'She better not try anything funny, cause I'll be here to stop it this time.' he thought as he was bracing for the worst.

"It seems you didn't get notice about the attire, Miss Utsushimi." Izumi commented. 

"Heh– No, I didn't get an invitation to this." 

"Then why're you here? Are you trying to stalk me or Katsuki?"
