Instead of doing the one thing I had had my mind on for the past week, here I was sitting with my dad's high school friends as they were already digging into the take out fried chicken. Not only was there fried chicken, but a few sides and clearly cans of beer meant for them and not me.

Erm– I just hope they won't be here all night, because I really wanna know more of what's on dad's computer!

"Huh? You gonna eat, Sophie?" I heard, making me flinch and look up to see all of them looking at me again.

"Ah– I-I uh– I-I had a snack just before you guys got here, s-so I'm still a little full from–"

"Don't lie."

"Huh? Ack!"

Before I could really say anything else, I looked up to see my dad making me a plate of food and then putting it right in front of me without asking.

"Wha– Dad? I just said I'm not hungry!"

"Don't lie, you've been staring at the food since we set everything out." my dad noted, making me stop to think.

Oh~ I get it, when I was staring off into space, my dad must've thought I was staring at the food instead since that was the direction I was looking at.

But I really wasn't hungry.

Not to mention that I can't really eat this that easily because again, my stupid ARFID is still a thing for me!

"Heh– This reminds me of what happened a couple weeks ago when the four of us went out for drinks. You should've seen your dad, Sophie, he was so drunk he couldn't even keep his head up!" Uncle Kaminari joked.

Ah~ So are they gonna mention that night which Miss Doriyaku was involved in?

"It was funny, and then we realized we were the ones that had to carry him." Uncle Sero pointed out, quickly making Uncle Kaminari stop laughing and sighing from the memory.

Is my dad heavy to carry when he's drunk? I thought Miss Doriyaku was able to carry him just fine from what she told me.

"Don't bring that up here, that was a bad day for me." my dad stated.

Hm? It was a bad day for my dad?

Oh wait– wasn't that the day before dad introduced Camie to us?

"Oh c'mon, Bakugo, you act like it was our fault for making you drink! You were the one that said you just wanted one drink which then led to more than one after that!" Uncle Kaminari laughed.

"You're not the one that doesn't remember what happened that night."

"No, but we left you in good hands with someone, remember?"

"D-Don't say that here!" my dad stuttered, and that's when I realized why my dad was trying to avoid this conversation; he thought I didn't know he got drunk that night and Miss Doriyaku brought him back to her place.

"We tried to take you to a hotel, but they were fully booked, but luckily that really nice lady helped us and said she'd take you to her place and–"

"Would you stop it already?!?! Not in front of my kid!"

"U-Um, actually..." I started, leading all four of them to turn and look at me.

"I kinda know about that story already..." I finished, as I could see them bat their eyes at me.

"Eh? She knows about the story? Did you tell her, Bakugo?"

"Why the hell would I tell her when I clearly am avoiding it being mentioned?"

"It was Miss Doriyaku." I interrupted, making my dad focus back on me.
