There was a History that in the 1800's where a series of Serial killers lurked in the shadows of Mazacrium.
The town's name itself was latin Mazacrium translated to Massacre due to it's History of producing Serial Killers.
Every decade new Serial Killers seems to appear like this town is cursed or this town is actually deadly.
Every year as people arrive, people also leave in fear of being the next victim of another upcoming series of massacres.

1862 - The Shadow Ripper appeared and killed 5 prostitutes which sparked an outrageous amount of fear people experienced. He was described as tall and was wearing a white faceless mask and black huge cloak. He was never caught.

1957 - The White Butcher came to town for another massacre, this time killing children. He killed 4 children and People were scared to get their eyes off of their kids... He was described as someone who's wearing a black cloak and a white faceless mask with a hat. The police searched every house and every evidences to catch this killer... He was never caught.

1985 - The Aracno is the killer that appeared in town during 1985, he hunted and killed wandering teenagers at night.. He was described as someone who's wearing a black cloak and white mask with spider print on it. With the total victims of 5 teenagers, The Aracno was feared and a curfew was Implemented and the FBI's were involved but again... He was never caught.

2011 - The Joker just like the Aracno, this Serial Killer stalked and killed teenagers and he had a total victims of 7 people. Local police was tasked to do a legal raid through all the local houses and even businesses to find this killer's identity. He was described as someone wearing a black cloak with a creepy clown mask. Rumors even say that he was laughing and giggling while killing those victims. He too was never caught.
These serial killers was again, never caught... People just forgot that they exist in the first place.
Only the families of those victims were seeking justice but they too failed.
Some of them moved town.
Some stayed...
In hopes that they will get the justice they deserved.
For other people this town is a horror booth.
But for the people in Mazacrium, it's still their homes.
It's where they grew up.
It's where their life began.
The people in the town built their own vigil for the victims of the massacre each decade.
And it's in the heart of the town.
Every year people will light a candle to remember those poor innocent lives that were taken away too soon.
Every year the locals celebrates the lives of those victims by honoring them through the people's businesses by acknowledging that they existed, that they were once people living, laughing, walking along the streets of Mazacrium. That they were someone who had big dreams and but not a future.
Mazacrium isn't just a spectacular folklore or a Netflix Serial Killer Documentaries, it's so much more than that.
