Nine: Ishaan Burman 🔪

I stared blankly at the emergency room while they attended to Annalise who again, was injured but low-key kinda her fault.

The door of the emergency room swung open and Chad entered the room.

"Omg Chad baby, I'm injured" Annalise cried.

But Chad just ignored her and quickly ran to Hayden who was still in shock.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Chad asked as he hugged Hayden tight.

"It's all my fault Chad" Hayden cried as he hugged Chad tight.

"What happened?" Britney arrived and looked at me confused.

"The killer attacked" I looked at Britney.

"Oh my gosh" Britney looked at me in shock.

"We also found some information"

"Where's Arthur?" She asked.

I looked at her and then everything hit me...

He's dead...

My boyfriend's dead...

I couldn't even bear to say it...

This was all a terrifying nightmare and when I wake up, Arthur is still alive and is sleeping beside me.

And I would cuddle him and hold him tight.

And I would be annoyed by him because he better not scare me like that again or else I'm gonna cuddle him tighter.

But I'm now hit with the reality that he's gone.

He didn't have the chance to be out with me.

He never got the chance to hear me telling others that he's my boyfriend.

My boyfriend...

I couldn't even tell Britney...

My mouth was shaking and words barely came out.

Britney rolled her eyes and took her phone and started calling someone.

"Who are you calling?" I asked.

"Arthur duhh.. he needs to know you guys are safe" Britney smiled at me.

"Britney" I tried to hold back my tears.

She walked out of the room and I followed her out.

I grabbed her arm and she turned around to face me and frowned.

"What?" She asked.

I heard Arthur's phone ringing and I looked at it and I can't help but hope that he'll pick it up.

"Arthur uhm..." I looked at her and my tears started to fall.

"Ishaan!" Her eyes started to water as she looked at me.

I just stared at her because I can't even say it out loud.

"He's gone" I cried.

"No" She looked at me and started crying.

"We tried to save him"

"I'm so sorry Ishaan"

She pulled me in and hugged me tight.

My spirit was crushed but my tears fell even harder when Britney hugged me tight.

I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her back.

"I'm so sorry Ishaan"

"It's okay Britney... It's not your fault"

We pulled apart and she took a deep breath but still crying.
