"Is it done Zahir?" I asked my older brother if he already sent those anonymous messages to the cops.

"I'm doing a hack Ishaan, I'm hacking into their system... You need to be patient" Zahir frowned.

"We need to release the evidence or else Sheriff Perez might leave town and escape!"

"Ishaan... We're going against the man of law here... Mr. Green would probably defend him again considering he's one of the most powerful people in town"

"I will take the fall Zahir... I have to take a risk... I need to seek justice for-" I paused.

"Arthur?" Zahir smiled.

I am so embarrassed that I have to second thought name dropping my boyfriend.

I am so used to it that even now I tend to do it again.

"Yes, My boyfriend" I smiled proudly.

"Oh" Zahir nodded.

"Yeah"

"So you're gay?"

"Yeah"

"Well... I love you" He smiled.

"Me too" I smiled at him.

He went back to his computer and continued hacking the police system.

"Do you have any idea why Sheriff Perez started killing people?" Zahir asked.

"Not a clue"

"Did you investigate it?"

"The motive behind it doesn't matter anymore Zahir... This happened years ago"

"Yes, but motive justifies evidence Ishaan... Dad taught us that"

"Well... I don't know where to begin in that case" I sighed.

"Done" Zahir smiled as he turned around to look at me.

"Thanks Zahir"

"Now the motive"

"Motive?" I looked at him confused.

He turned back around to face his computer and started hacking into another system.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm hacking into the public Library's most private documents"

"You can access it?"

"If this is from decades ago the possibility of it being in the computer is low... But we're talking about 2011 there will always be a copy of news about this online"

"Okay" I nodded.

"Here look at this" Zahir pointed at the screen.

I moved closer to him and looked at his computer.

"Employer under backlash after judge  ruled an ex-employee innocent after he was accused of rape and was unfairly fired" Zahir read the headline.

"And look it's Mr. Green!" I gasped as I pointed at a picture of Mr. Green attached to the news article.

"An Employee killed himself a month after he won the trial against his boss" Zahir continued to read.

"Did he kill himself or was he killed?" I asked.

"I can't answer that... Both are possibilities"

"Oh my gosh" I gasped as I finally realized everything that's happening.

"Oh my gosh... Are you gonna solve a decade long murder mystery?" Zahir smirked.

"The massacre was a distraction! Mr. Green paid the Sheriff to perform a massacre to distract people's attention away from his case... Hence that news article was hidden and the forensics got paid"
