Somewhere in what looks to be a black void, with strings of color floating from different pictures in which people seem to be moving.

We see a person who appears to be female, with long golden hair floating in the black void. She has her eyes closed and wears armor that, if my history knowledge is correct, is late Roman armor.

She then opens her eyes; they are a bloody red color. Just as her eyes fully open, she begins to look around in confusion. She then begins to speak in a language that isn't widely spoken today, so I will translate it to a language we all can understand: "Where am I?" She asks. Her voice is pleasant and nice. She then shivers, "It's cold in here." She thinks for a moment, "What happened? How did I end up here?" She then continues, "The last thing I remember is defending Ravenna from the approaching barbarians." She thinks harder, "I couldn't do anything because I didn't have a physical form." She wants to continue thinking, but she hears a booming voice asking, "How did a soul end up here?" She looks around but doesn't see anything. She asks, "What do you mean, soul?" The voice then laughs, saying, "The soul doesn't even know it's a soul, pathetic." She then gets angry, shouting, "Hey! It's not my fault for not knowing where I am." The voice answers, saying, "You are right. Should I tell you where you are?" She answers, "That would be nice." The voice is then quiet for a moment before saying, "You are in the dimension connecting universes." She then thinks for a solid minute about what the voice could mean with universes then she asks, "Do you mean between heaven, earth, and hell?" She then continues, "Are you God? Am I about to be judged?" The voice then answers, "Okay, I have humbled you enough." The tone of the voice changes; it seems more sinister. "I originally planned to get your soul out of here because souls that are here too long decay and disappear. But for the insult of calling me something as low as 'God,' I will leave you here to slowly disappear." The female is confused, but before she could ask anything, all the strings of color around her begin to move. She quickly asks, "What are you doing!?" The voice answers, "I am removing the time strings because they keep your soul from disappearing." The soul wants to ask another thing, but one string accidentally hits her, and she screams in pain as the combined power of one timeline hits her and burns away her armor, replacing the armor with something else, but she can't see what because the last time string is gone and everything has gone dark. She then yells, "Hello, are you still there?" But she receives no answer. She yells again, "Hello, please answer." She then starts to plead that he comes back, but she receives no answer. She then finally says, "So he is gone." Her voice now quiet as a whisper, "That definitely wasn't God; he would never do something like this." She then starts to think about what happened right now; she then feels something wet on her cheek. She raises her hand to her wet cheek and asks, "Am I crying?" Because she has never cried before, but now that she is probably dead and all alone, it just breaks out of her as if a dam inside of her just broke. She cries and cries; she cries for what feels to be an eternity. She thinks about her brother that she left behind and how he must be feeling right now. She continues to cry until her eye sockets are completely dry of tears. She then picks up her previous trail of thought, but this time in an almost empty tone of voice, "Then as Ravenna fell, the barbarian king," she seems to almost choke. She then continues in a shaking voice, "H-he d-d-deposed t-the... Emperor." These words reverberated in her heart for what feels like an eternity. She then finally says, "And after that I," she musters the courage to continue, "I d-disappeared from the world." She would have continued to cry then and there, but she couldn't; there weren't any tears left in her. Her thoughts then did a full 180, and she thinks about why she fell. "It was the Germans; they poured over the border into my land," she then continues, "and the North Africans attacked me too." She spiraled further and further into the thought process, "Yes, yes, I could have beaten them back, but..." If there was any light in the void, you could see that her eyes got a crazier and crazier look. She then continues, "Yes, I could have fought back, but these people betrayed me," her words also start sounding crazy. "Yes, the Gauls and the Spaniards, they all betrayed me," her words get more venomous with every word she says. "Yes, and even my own army betrayed me while siding with that barbarian king," her voice cracked in disgust at even talking about the king. She then continues, "Yes, yes, if I could, I would snap the neck of every one that betrayed me," she then grins. She then lets out a giggle, "Haha-ha," then more and more, "Hahahaha," and in a few moments, her giggles spiral into a fit of crazy laughter, "HAHAHAHAHAHHAH" in a craze she then yells, "YES I WILL SNAP ALL OF THEIR NECKS AND BEFORE THAT I WILL TORTURE THEIR FAMILIES, THEIR CHILDREN FIRST, THEN THEIR PARTNERS, AND THEN I WILL KILL THEM SLOWLY!!" After another eternity of spouting ways to kill the, in her eyes, traitors and their future bloodline, she calms down a little, "Okay, I can't exactly do anything to the traitors as long as I am in here. So how do I get out?" She thinks and thinks, but she doesn't seem to get any closer to her solution. She then screams, "Thank you, you 'almighty god,' for the help!!" She almost got into another craze on how she would eventually find a way to erase this deity, but before she could start, she sees a light in the distance lighting up the void in which she is currently floating. She then feels how she is being sucked in the direction of the light, and her crazy smile returns. She says, she then prays, "Thank you, oh Lord, for saving me from this hell, and with these words, I pray and hope that you will someday smite those who betrayed me." She then finishes with a quiet, "Amen."

(Thank you for reading. Yes, I know it is shorter than my other chapters, but in this chapter, I just wanted to introduce a new character that will join our little group. Alright, bye.)
