Chapter 13: The Ever-Burning Fire

I was busy training in the Holo room alone, fighting off against Kraang holograms. Even though that in our time they aren't around anymore, they are still the beings that get my rage worked up. I had my music blasting aloud,  mumbling the words to the lyrics as I fought and easily used my powers to knock em down. I was training myself to fight without my tessens. Though I hated it, I knew it was a crucial thing to do. Following to the beat of the music, I side stepped and twirled, slicing my hand through the air which knocked the holograms down from my psychic wavelengths. I felt the power surging around me, feeling like a powerful goddess of space with my Aeon crystal aiding and enhancing my powers.

The holograms were down and the power in me died down, allowing myself to breathe as my hair clung to my sweaty face. I pulled my flowing hair up and styled it back into a bun just as the Holo room shut down, ending the session.

"Nice." I whipped my head around to see Raph standing behind me with a smirk on his face. "Seems like music really speaks to you."

"Weirdly enough, it makes me feel powerful and helps me connect my powers. Just the beat, the rhythm, everything. Even the lyrics. But enough about that. Were you watching me?" I asked with a smirk.

"Would it be a crime if I was?~"

"Well we're not back on Earth yet so I don't think those laws apply." I lightly laughed.

"Come on."

He gestured me to follow him, heading back up to the main control room where everyone was just sitting around lazily, watching from the window as all the stars and planets went rushing past us with the ship warping through space to get to our destination.

"Man, it's a long way to the ZZ3 Plural X Beta Galaxy. Even warping is taking forever." Donnie sighed.

"Yeah, I'd say the far edge of the known universe is a long way." Leo added, yawning and stretching in his seat.

"The planet itself is Magdomar, which translates as Planet of Ever-Burning Fire." Fugitoid stated.

"Oh, man! Couldn't we just once go to the planet of Comfy Pillows and Endless Free Pizza?" Mikey groaned with boredom.
