It's been three days since Greggy left for a business trip. And for heaven's sake!

"Teacher I! You mean, tito Gee will not be able to watch us again?"

I leveled down to the kid and tapped her nose, I gave her a warm smile "Sadly, he couldn't darling. But he said his good luck!" I answered, Feliz bowed her head in dismay and played with her fingers. She looks like a doll because of her long lashes, curly hair, and pinkish lips.

"But he promised, Teacher I" she mumbled, I tucked some hair strands behind her ears, and lifted her chin.

I carried her on my lap and wiped her tears. "Why does he keep on breaking his promise?" she sobbed. Because when Feliz entered the group, asawa ko ang unang nakasundo niya.

Si Greggy ang dahilan why Feliz is very excited every time there's a recital. My husband was her number one fan ever since she joined our tiny musical family. They're very fond of each other, minsan nga eh napagkakamalan silang mag-ama.

"Shhh, it's just that, Tito Gee has a lot of work, he needs to take care of many people, his employees. And taking care of his employees means caring for many families too! That's why he has to work hard to help more people, and make them happy!" I explained.

She looked at me and sniffed, "I miss my tito Gee" she whispered. I hugged her tight, "I'm here naman eh" sagot ko, and caressed her hair. Naramdaman ko ang yakap niya sa akin.

"Don't you miss him too, Teacher I?" she innocently asked. Napatigil ako.

Do I miss him?

or the old us that I miss?

"Of course, I miss him... So much" I answered.

That day went by so quick. Pagkatapos ng rehearsals, dumeretsyo ako sa mall to buy some baking ingredients, naubos na kasi stock sa bahay. At bukod doon, kailangan ko rin bumili ng dress for Feliz. 'yon ang bilin sa akin ni Greggy bago umalis;

"Please buy her a dress which she will wear on the day of their performance. So that she could still feel my presence"

I find it sweet. Of course am glad with the sudden change.

I was just roaming around the mall when my phone suddenly rang.

I greeted, just pushing the cart, tumigil ako sa isang stall because  I saw a cute pink dress. It has ruffles on the sleeves, and some butterflies as well.

"I've been texting you, hindi ka sumasagot babae ka!" bungad sa akin ni ate. Nailayo ko ang telepono ko sa tenga ko sa lakas ng boses niya. I groaned;

"What's the matter? My phone is on a dnd the whole day. You know why I'm busy, manang" I answered back at inilagay ang dress sa cart.
